Let's Celebrate Blog Hop!

Happy New Year bloggies! I hope everyone has a great New Year's celebration. My Facebook status today is this: New year, new opportunities, new chances to live the life you've always imagined. I'm game. I think that's pretty appropriate for my life and I hope to follow it.

Moving on....JoAnna, a fellow Peachy Keen Stamp Designer asked me to participate in her Celebration Blog Hop, how fun! The card I made was a bit of a challenge for me for some reason. Some days I just have issues with being creative, it happens. I think it's fun though! Enjoy the rest of your hop, thanks for joining me here at Erin Lee Creative!
****PRIZE!**** To ring in 2011 right, I'm giving away a $10.00 Peachy Keen Stamps Gift Certificate! It will be emailed to one lucky winner, which I will pick Tuesday. Just leave a comment for your chance to win!

Here's the rest of the hop line up! Happy 2011 friends!

Unity Kit of the Month!

Santa brought me the Kit of the Month! WHOO HOO! I'm so pumped about this. I was so good all year ;)
This is a quick card I made with one of the stamps from the December kit. I LOVE this stamp, isn't it beautiful? If you are new to Unity Stamp Co, you really need to check out the sale they have going on right now. Stamps under $10! Sets too for cheap! And free shipping! Check it out here

I also used my new Martha Stewart fringe scissors I picked up at Michael's as well as my new Papertrey Ink flower die to layer my flower. OH and one of my new Tim Holtz distressing inks to vintage it up!

I'm getting ready to head to Kansas tomorrow. I have a few projects I plan on posting though when I'm gone! Have a great Wednesday friends.

Christmas Cheer Blog Hop!

Hello friends and first time visitors! We are in the home stretch now...this will be my last post until after Christmas. In the meantime, you can find me baking away in the kitchen and enjoying some good fun family time. LOVE IT!

Paula and Momo asked me to participate in their Christmas Cheer Blog Hop and I of course said YES since I'm the holiday cheermeister! :) I decided to post a few of my Christmas projects that I've been working so hard on the past few weeks. All of my presents have homemade tags and are waiting under the tree:
This is one of my favorite tags. I used Peachy Keen Stamps Our Two Angels In Heaven set. I am really partial to this set, it's just so cute! I also used a Unity Stamp sentiment. I keep joking that I spent all this work making these tags and receivers will just throw them away, but in all seriousness, I am proud of my work and my homemade Christmas items and that's all that really matters to me :)
Next, I am giving a few gift cards to people. I wanted to of course create something cute to put them in. I was under a time crunch with these, so I needed fast and simple. Distressed edges on Kraft card stock, patterned paper from My Mind's Eye, ribbon, a Unity Stamp Co stamp and a little round sticker to seal it! This one is holding an iTunes gift card inside ;)
And last, but certainly not least, my card sets. I have been working on these for what seems like forever! I completed 10 sets total and it took me a while because I wanted to make each set with that person in mind. I love how they turned out and I hope my gift receivers love them too!
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and many wonderful blessings in 2011! Now...on with the hop, next stop is Gloria.

Stockings hung by the chimney with care? Ok, on with today's post....This is part 2 video of my vintage tag. This video is how to make the vintage layered flowers with the Cricut.

Birthday Soiree! Giveaway Day 3

It's.....Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Friday and my BIRTHDAY! That makes me very happy, so I'm meshing the birthday celebration with this PKS challenge. We were tasked with creating a project using a paper bag. Tricky! This was definitely a challenge for me. I ended up using part of a cardboard box, and heaven knows I get plenty of boxes delivered to my house this time of year! hee hee.

This is a tag I made using cardboard, Doodlecharms cartridge (snowman), distressing inks, Martha Stewart glitter, Unity Stamps (snowflake and sentiment), ribbon, other embellies and....Peachy Keen Stamps Happy Lashes! I'm obsessed with making tags right now.

Speaking of PKS Happy Lashes, who wants to win the Happy Lashes Face Assortment?

OMG! This prize is SO awesome isn't it?!?!?! Just comment on this post what your favorite thing to make is during the holidays for a chance to win! Good luck!

Hellooooooo Shopping!

Good morning crafty friends! Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving? I know I am fo sho! I worked on a card last night that is sorta kinda sans Cricut? Ok, not really but it's simple enough. I used my new Unity Stamp Co set Melody Ross Brave Girl Boots for the sentiment and the Nifty Fifties cartridge for the flower. I cut the flower 4 times from my Gypsy, each .5 inch difference in size then distressed the edges with my new sponge, much easier! (Thank you for the tips on the type of distressing tool to use with different inks.) Then I pop dotted each flower layer and added a bling brad. Simple, easy, pretty.
A couple of sales I will be hitting or have already hit up (online, cause I just don't do Walmart at 5 am, although that teal Expression is RATHER tempting and I'm already done with all my shopping :0)....

Peachy Keen Stamps sale starts tomorrow, tiered discounts with a freebie (gotta love it)

Market Street Stamps is giving away a freebie stamp with a purchase and other fun news!

Unity Stamp Co. crazy good sales going on right now with free shipping

Pink By Design sale starts tomorrow, get your sentiment on

Now, why are you still here? Go forth and shop....make me proud ;)

Unity Stamps!

I decided to get back to the basics of paper crafting, stamping and INK. I started paper crafting with my Cricut and never really got the experience of stamping so I've decided to do more projects without my Cricut to challenge myself. But don't worry, I won't ignore my Cricut for too long :)

I need to enlighten you all on the beauty of Unity Stamps, if you don't already know. Wonderful, glorious, make me smile good ole rubber stamps. I got my first set in the mail today (Melody Ross Brave Girl Boots) and of course I had to play. Turns out I couldn't put them down. I am in LOVE! Hopefully Santa know I would LOVE the kit of the month club for Christmas (or better yet, my birthday...it's sooner!). Wouldn't that be the BEST!? I was able to knock out another card set for a Christmas present, yeah me! Happy viewing!

Just the Ticket projects

Hi bloggies! I hope you are having a great weekend. I had a great Saturday, complete with some craft time. I spent most of the day playing around with my new Papertrey Ink Just the Ticket stamp set and die. I must say, this is such an AWESOME and versatile stamp set and also super easy to use!

I needed a birthday card and a wedding card, along with a jump start on my Christmas gift-giving projects. I am giving out card set boxes for some of my gifts (these clear boxes are also from PTI). Here are a few pictures of all of the cards I've made today, all from this stamp set. The cake / cat is cut from my NEW Birthday Bash cartridge and the NEW Peachy Keen Stamps Happy Lashes set. FYI: the ticket die works likes a dream in my Cuttlebug with this sandwich: A, B, die, paper, C plates.
