Toy Story Card!

Found a nice surprise in my mailbox when I got home tonight - yup....the much anticipated Toy Story cartridge!!!! I had to rip it open immediately and make a card. The whole time the little alien voices in my head kept chanting "the claw". LOL I love Toy Story! I am working on a card swap for all the holidays and I'm in frantic mode trying to get them done this week to ship off.

Take me to your leaderrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

My Pink Stamper Winter Challenge

Now that it's almost September, I guess it's time to get ready for winter! HA yeah right - not in Texas! My Pink Stamper is having a winter challenge and it allowed me to catch up on a page for my daughter's book - we had RECORD snowfall here last February. What a fun day - she still talks about building a snowman.

Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores ribbon (my NEW FAVORITE color ever!)

That's it! Simple layout, no Cricut used. The picture and journaling say it all :)

Episode #14: My Craft Room

Hi bloggies! I hope everyone is having a nice relaxing Sunday evening. I used to really dread Sunday nights, but I am learning to cherish the relaxation time more. I've had a pretty productive weekend. Friday night, I stayed up SUPER late setting up my NEW iphone! I love it! Saturday I had a garage sale and today I worked on my daughter's birthday invitations. I am not the best at creating the SAME project in LARGE quantities! haha...here are a few.

I thought I would upload a quick video tour of my craft room so you could see how I set things up and how I have everything organized.

Halloween Challenge sponsored by Oh My Crafts!

I have a very exciting challenge for you! I'm hoping all of you will join me in a Halloween challenge this week sponsored by one of my VERY favorite online craft stores Oh My Crafts! They also have an inspiring blog I love to visit routinely.

Oh My Crafts and Erin Lee Creative will be choosing one lucky winner to win an AWESOME Halloween prize package from Oh My Crafts featuring Cuttlebug products and more! The contest will be judged on originality and creativity for Halloween. It can be a layout, card or other craft. Be sure to link up your project post to Mr. Linky below for your chance to win by Sunday 8/29 at 11:59 pm (the challenge ENDS 8/30 at midnight). Good luck and have fun creating!

Here is my Halloween project inspiration for you. I used the Mini Monsters cartridge, a pretzel favor bag, yummy dark chocolate Hershey kisses and a couple of my FAVORITE products from Oh My Crafts - Cuttlebug embossing folders, my iRock and Stickles!

Sparkle Sister card

This is my soon-to-be sister-in-law's birthday card. Since she just got engaged, I thought this card was appropriate! Happy birthday Megh!

This skull ring cut gave me some REAL trouble tonight. The black outline is ridiculous and thin! It goes OVER the whole cut, which was sort of a pain. I had to cut it twice after ripping it once.

My daughter's teacher is leaving and I am very sad about it because she loves her! I made this quick card for her. It was really simple and easy. It's been a busy weekend with company!

Episode #13: 3D Favor Box (and first dance class!)

Happy Saturday everyone! This morning was a very special morning I will NEVER forget. My daughter had her first dance class! She absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back next week. She was so attentive and one of the only ones that made it through the whole class! LOL! I can't wait to scrapbook these photos. Here is a few pictures from her class:
I've started working on my daughter's 3rd birthday party stuff. I thought I would show how easy it is to make a 3D box from one of my favorite Cricut cartridges Forever Young! The card shown below is the invitation. More Hello Kitty Birthday stuff coming soon I'm sure, lots still to do. Have a great rest of your Saturday!

Then, I found out I won a Peachy Keen Stamps gift certificate for my recent order and received my AWESOME stamp sets yesterday.

And NOW, I can now officially announce that I am a WINNER of the Cricut Circle Infomerical Contest!!!! I am so very excited about this. More information to come....

Now! Onto my project. This card is for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge. Her challenge was to use the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge and "frame it".

Gotta love those Texas girls ;)

To celebrate my new website, I am giving away the hard-to-find New Arrival cartridge in celebration!!!! Because, well, my website is a NEW ARRIVAL!

I'm thinking my pin up girl needs a name, so I'm enlisting ya'll to help name her. Please post your best name idea for my pin up girl, and I'll choose a random winner on Sunday! And p.s. don't forget to grab my CUTE new button for your own site!

Warm Winter Wishes Snowman card

I made a super duper quick card because my new Winter Frolic cartridge was begging to be opened! Isn't the snowman cute? I love how his little body is a little funky shaped. Of course, my Peachy Keen stamps came in handy, once again! Stamp from Papertrey Ink.

Winner and a sunshine card!

Hi my lovely bloggies! Guess what? Random.org picked a winner for my precious firecracker stamp from Peachy Keen. The winner is.....Heather!

Congrats Heather! Shoot me your addy and I will drop him in the mail to you!

I made this quick card tonight. The sun cut is so simple, but I love him! It makes me happy looking at this card, I might hang it up in my craft room. The stamp is from Papertrey Ink's Up Up and Away set, I love the fonts in the stamp. The cloud paper is sooooo pretty in person. It's DCWV's Endless Summer stack from Michael's. And of course, a Peachy Keen face. Have a great night everyone!

Penguin Card

My daughter and I have been starting a special craft tradition on Sunday nights. We have been taking an hour before bedtime to do a craft. The past few weeks, we have made cards. She loves making them and helping with the Cricut (yes, she is only 3!) Tonight, she chose the penguin. Her very favorite thing to do is peel the paper backing off the dimensionals! Ha ha! I make it educational for her, we talk about animals and work on our colors while she helps me pick out paper. She then decorates her own way on the inside with colorings and stickers. The girl is obsessed with stickers!  We have a blast together and I love encouraging her creativity. Here is a fun picture of her decorating the inside. Have a great night!

Episode 10: Firecracker Card & Giveaway!

Yes, I realize I am a month late on the 4th of July card, but for good reason! Who wants this cute Peachy Keen firecracker stamp? I have an extra, so just leave a comment below and I will pick a random winner Monday morning!

Barrette Holder

It's back to school time! That means time to get organized. Or try as much as I can with a 3 year old ;) I found this cute pink metal bin in the Target dollar section and decided to make it my daughter's barrette bin. She loses them like crazy and I find them all over the house!

I am entering this in Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge over at My Creative Time. Her challenge this week was to use the Paisley cartridge with a back to school theme! Her challenges are always so fun. Have a great weekend bloggies!

It was so fun and I can't wait to share more with you! Be sure to check out all the other awesome projects on My Pink Stamper by my fellow designers, they are all fabulous!

I know I might get a few gasps, but it's true: cats are not my favorite pets. I am more of a dog girl, but this cat is really the "cat's meow" (tee hee!) I am a huge music person, so I am really loving her headphones! I stitched a zig zag on the gray layer with my Janome sewing machine for this card.
