Christmas Gift Tag

I'm totally in the Christmas spirit! I am going to be making TAGS, lots of gift tags, finishing up my Christmas card gift sets and drinking lots of hot cocoa the next few weeks. OH, and celebrating my birthday Friday! :) This is a tag I made without the Cricut, can you believe it? Just Unity Stamps, My Mind's Eye paper, Papertrey Ink Kraft card stock and some embellies. Super simple!

It's Black Friday - Jolly Holidays card!

Yo yo yo! Even though I said I wouldn't do Black Friday, when I saw Michael's was opening at 5 pm last night and Walmart at midnight, I decided I could definitely do that! I got a lot of great deals at Michael's, I think the best deals (that are still going on) is holiday paper 50% off and those Jumbo Stickle sets for $6.99! I got the Jolly Holidays and Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite cartridges at Walmart, too. Here is my first card with Jolly Holidays. Products I used that are on sale right now online are below.

Jolly Holidays Cricut Lite cartridge (exclusive to Walmart right now)
Unity Stamp Co Peace. Joy. Love stamp (Unity Stamp Co is having a GREAT sale online!)
Market Street Stamps background image Too Many Martinis (20% plus a freebie this weekend!)
Peachy Keen Stamps Animal Faces + Christmas Character Assortment (huge sale this weekend!)
kraft card stock, stickles, Stampin Up ribbon

I hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving, enjoy your weekend!

Hellooooooo Shopping!

Good morning crafty friends! Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving? I know I am fo sho! I worked on a card last night that is sorta kinda sans Cricut? Ok, not really but it's simple enough. I used my new Unity Stamp Co set Melody Ross Brave Girl Boots for the sentiment and the Nifty Fifties cartridge for the flower. I cut the flower 4 times from my Gypsy, each .5 inch difference in size then distressed the edges with my new sponge, much easier! (Thank you for the tips on the type of distressing tool to use with different inks.) Then I pop dotted each flower layer and added a bling brad. Simple, easy, pretty.
A couple of sales I will be hitting or have already hit up (online, cause I just don't do Walmart at 5 am, although that teal Expression is RATHER tempting and I'm already done with all my shopping :0)....

Peachy Keen Stamps sale starts tomorrow, tiered discounts with a freebie (gotta love it)

Market Street Stamps is giving away a freebie stamp with a purchase and other fun news!

Unity Stamp Co. crazy good sales going on right now with free shipping

Pink By Design sale starts tomorrow, get your sentiment on

Now, why are you still here? Go forth and shop....make me proud ;)

Unity Stamps!

I decided to get back to the basics of paper crafting, stamping and INK. I started paper crafting with my Cricut and never really got the experience of stamping so I've decided to do more projects without my Cricut to challenge myself. But don't worry, I won't ignore my Cricut for too long :)

I need to enlighten you all on the beauty of Unity Stamps, if you don't already know. Wonderful, glorious, make me smile good ole rubber stamps. I got my first set in the mail today (Melody Ross Brave Girl Boots) and of course I had to play. Turns out I couldn't put them down. I am in LOVE! Hopefully Santa know I would LOVE the kit of the month club for Christmas (or better yet, my birthday...it's sooner!). Wouldn't that be the BEST!? I was able to knock out another card set for a Christmas present, yeah me! Happy viewing!

Hi bloggies! I hope you are having a great weekend. I had a great Saturday, complete with some craft time. I spent most of the day playing around with my new Papertrey Ink Just the Ticket stamp set and die. I must say, this is such an AWESOME and versatile stamp set and also super easy to use!

I needed a birthday card and a wedding card, along with a jump start on my Christmas gift-giving projects. I am giving out card set boxes for some of my gifts (these clear boxes are also from PTI). Here are a few pictures of all of the cards I've made today, all from this stamp set. The cake / cat is cut from my NEW Birthday Bash cartridge and the NEW Peachy Keen Stamps Happy Lashes set. Scrapbook Layout Challenge w/ Liz and Shall We Dance!

Good evening bloggies! Yesterday, as I was browsing my favorite blogs, I saw that my good friend Liz at Liz's Paper Loft (whose work is much more creative and genius than mine!) was wanting to do more layouts but tended to "over think them". I thought wow, does that sound like me! So we are going to do some layout challenges together to help each other get some scrapbooks done. Feel free to play along! Here is what I came up with tonight.

I used my NEW Cricut Circle Shall We Dance cartridge and of course, Peachy Keen Stamps! This PKS face is from the Princess Face Assortment. The sentiment stamp is from Pink By Design Girls Just Wanna Have Fun set. This is the sketch I found for us to use today:

I am loving doing layouts based on a sketch, because I can follow a pattern. Maybe someday down the road, I can come up with my own sketches but for simplicity's sake, this suits me just fine! Have a great Wednesday friends.

Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk!

Yay for free Gypsy cartridges! I finally got the download to work tonight and I am definitely in love with Smiley Faces. Of course, the first thing I see is PEACHY KEEN POTENTIAL! :) This cartridge has some really cute cuts.

For this easel card, I used PKS Everyday Faces, a Michael's dollar stamp, Stampin Up card stock, my Cuttlebug, Papertrey Ink ribbon and some Diamond Glaze.

So don't cry over spilled milk, ok? HEE HEE!
