Today, I have a special guest designer to share with you. Her name is Sarah, and many of you may know her as Pink Cricut. She is always sharing amazing deals, news and projects to fellow crafters on her website anddddd she just so happens to sell some pretty amazing sentiment stamps that go perfect with your Cricut cuts! Her stamps are included in my "favorite things" because I love being a designer for her! She did a banner for me, which is perfect because I just lurve me some banners.
Isn't it cute and festive? She has more details on how she made it on her blog. And guess what else? She is also sponsoring my giveaway for today....
Take the Cake Stamp Set! Yee haw! Just leave a comment on this post telling me a fun story about a friend, and you'll be entered to win this fun stamp set. I am loving reading all the comments about your favorite gifts, so this one should be fun too!

I'll see ya'll tomorrow on the BIG day! Just a little hint: It's a Peachy Keen Day tomorrow which makes me oh so happy!!! ;)

Happy Day 2!!

My friend and I had just opened a Cricut machine for the first time and started using it without watching the CD - tore so much paper off the fresh mat and we just started laughing at ourselves and couldn't stop for hours. (ya had to have been there) Anyway that was such a good time with my crazy cricut friend.

Thanks again for hosting the giveaway!! debshopn@gmail.com

Love the banner its a great way to show some holiday spirit. All my friends know I love to scrap and make cards. One year it was a friends birthday and I didn't have time to make her a card so I brought one. She looked at it and asked me if I was mad at her. I told her no,she thought I was mad because I didn't make her a card. I just didn't have the time. It was kind of funny that people look forward to my cards

What a cute banner. I was okay with turning 30, there were a lot of other changes going on in my life so turning 30 didn't faze me, but the big 40 is in a month. I think I might have some problems with that. Maybe I will stay 39 for a while:) My DD was in a performance last night for light up night in our town, which was on the steps in front of city hall, and in the middle of the routine, she fell on her butt. She did jump up and get right back into it but it was pretty funny because she kept saying before the performance, just don't let me trip. She was laughing so all was well.

So cute. I love this banner and Sarah's stamps are so cute and stamp so well. A story about a friend... there are so many. I guess a favorite story is when I was going to my first swarm and was a little nervous about not knowing anyone. I ended up having a blogging friend say she was going too. We ended up meeting for the first time and she has become a real life friend too. me(at)glorajean(dot)com.

Cute banner & I love stamps so I will definately check out her stamps!! My story about a friend...A friend and I went to Michigan for a much needed trip. We really didn't have a specfic place to go, we ended up in an area for the older crowd. We asked around and found a nice place for us. We had such a great time...we parasailed, rode the jet skis (many times), laid out on the beach, & went shopping! Just had a nice few days of girl time :)

next week I will be closer to 50 than 40, YIKES! so that being said, I have alot of stories but all are too embarassing and lenghy to post...I forgot yesterday to tell you my favorite gift, I would have to say my expression! Two reasons, 1 because IT'S AN EXPRESSION and 2 because my husband totally surprised me with it without me asking. That was about 4 years ago. Not his normal practice!

I have a really cool story about my best friend Stacy. We are like two peas in pod. The only difference between us is that she didn't scrapbook. Well I kept telling her about and she would check out my blog. After a few months of persuasion, I had her scrapbooking, blogging (I set it up for her), and we went to a CKC together! It's awesome ;)

Great set of stamps! Have lots of them, but not this one!

I was out at Michael's shopping last night with my best friend, and someone thought we were sisters! Didn't believe us when we said we weren't - said our eyes were exactly alike! I think we were just both drooling over the same stuff! Anyway, pretty funny!

Love Sarah's banner... already showed her some love on her blog.

My BFF and I have been friends for over 20 years now. We really don't even have to talk anyone, we know what the other is thinking and know the next move the other is going to make. I totally freaks out her husband. He we making fun of us one night and was telling her kids that we have our own alien language to communicate. When we are together, he refers to us as the "aliens". I think he's just a little bit jealous. :)

Your just a baby! Wait to hit the 50's then you have something to worry about! Love your banner or should I say Pink Cricuts Banner...O.K I am just about 60 and my memory is going... LOL! Si I have been playing Bingo for years with my best friend Sharon and last eek when we got there we picked up our extra games. One is called Statelite where you mark of all the odd numbers on the card and the other is called Casino, on this one you mark anytghing ending in 6, 7 and 8 so I go to do this and then I noticed I have done the wrong thing to each card and then I hear Sharon same Damn... she did the same thing. We are off to Bingo tonight to see if we can remember to do it the right way this time.

My friend and I decided to show off and play Capture the flag with a bunch of kids in the neighborhood. We were trying to be the cool parents so we were hopping fences, bushes, running like crazy. All was good until the next morning.. neither one of us could move!! We were so sore from trying to be "cool" It took me three days to fully recover!

my friend got stuck in my sun roof. My other friends thought they could help her get out by greasing her up. That's what they did, with vegetable oil & butter. She finally got out but I honestly don't think the oil or butter had anything to do with it...but it was funny. Very cute banner.

Happy 30 tomorrow.
When in high school my best friend and I went to different HS. We both drove Datsun cars. Mine was older and her key worked in my car. Scary, I know. When we got together on weekends we would often trick her friends by driving around in her car and pretending to see if her key would work in a random car, which always was mine. We freaked a few people out by it, which made for a good laugh in the end by all.

Okay, I am all out of stories.

He reminds everyone...his only saving grace is that I have a great sense of humor...lol

Happy (early) Birthday Erin! Hope the last few hours in your 20s are great :) A story about a friend...the one I remember (and still laugh about) involves a friend/co-worker. We were at a conference in Pittsburgh with 3 other teachers and Russell Crowe was filming a movie there during the same time. My friend Julie and I were upstairs, in our pjs, watching a movie when our other co-workers knocked on our door and said that there were ELEPHANTS walking down the street! Julie and I were so convinced it was a scene from Russell's movie that we threw on clothes, raced to the elevators, shrieking the whole way, and went running down the street after the elephants! Unfortunately, the elephants were announcing the arrival of the circus to town and not Russell Crowe :( Oh well - we still laugh about it now! :) Thanks for the awesome giveaway! Happy Birthday again!

The other day my friend and I were going to get pedicures together. She was running late, so I went in to the salon and got us 2 chairs. I sent her a text to let her know I was inside, so I said "They can get us in, so I'm soaking and waiting for you." Well, I accidentally sent the message to the wrong person! (my sister, luckily!) It sounds terrible when you don't know I was talking about pedicures! My sister had a great time trying to figure out who I was soaking and waiting for!

Sarah's banner came out so lovely... :o) You know turning 30 is not so bad either is turning 40 but I think when you're going to hit the big 50 that's when you may start to rethink things... I mean then you are 1/2 a century old! WOW... I don't want to think about it.... I mean I've already done the 30 thing and the 40 thing... guess whats next? LOL The only thing I can think of with my friend and I being silly was when she had a house warming party and we both got drunk.... She's not a drinker and well I'm not really either but back then I learned how to make Long Island Ice Tea... and boy we were sooooo plastered that she forgot that we were at her new house.... She kept telling me to take her home and she was already there! LOL Her hubby thought we were both crazy cause we kept telling each other how much we LOVE each other too! I guess you had to be there... those were the days! LOL :o)

Love Love the banner! A very silly story about my BFF is about us going "Curb Shopping". A nearby town was having clean up days. We were in town and drove by a very nice house that was putting out an almost new dining room set. We put it in my Tahoe and they even helped load the chairs for us. So many good laughs about that day.

I don't have any really awesome stories, but this way kind of funny. My best friend tried crochet about a year ago, she was pregnant at the time. She got frustrated quickly and gave up. The other day she was over and said "Oh you'll be so proud of me, I'm handmaking my gifts this year." I said, "Oh that's awesome! Are you going to crochet those..." and before I could even finish she practically screamed "NO!" at me! *LOL* It was pretty funny, I guess she won't be trying her hand at that anytime soon :)

You gotta have friends! And yours made you a terrific banner. :-)

My best friend moved to Florida from New England after high school graduation. My boyfriend and I decided to visit his mother in Florida for the holidays that year and I was able to make a special trip to visit her and her new boyfriend. Well, she and I celebrated our reunion with a few too many margaritas at a restaurant. We were laughing and having a great time when we decided to go to the ladies room together. Imagine our surprise when we realized we were in the men's room!! LOL

My friend Julia from work was talking to another co-worker and the co-worker was telling us about her lunch and she said to Julia guess where I went and Julia said it better not be Carrabas so the co worker said noooooo it was Harrabas. Julia looked at her and said oh where is that? She was completely serious and thought our co-worker was telling her about a new place. I was trying to contain my laughter finally our co-worker looked at me and said help her out please. I am about crying at this point. We still laugh about it all though it happened almost a year ago and we don't work together anymore.

I met my childhood best friend because I had a bike wreck and my dad had went in their house earlier. So I went in the house just bawling up a storm (I thought I was dying from scrapes and bruises!). She helped patch me up and we were best friends for life from then on!

Love the banner! and the stamps!

TFS!

That is awesome of Sarah to make such an awesome banner for you!
My Friend Julie locked her keys in her car while we were eating dinner one evening. We were so worried about getting to Hobby Lobby before they closed...She said to me "I have it under control...and she called us a cab" we made it to Hobby Lobby in time, and her hubby picked us up at closing with the additional key for her car!!!
Thanks for your birthday gifts to us all!

the banner has such a classy look.

One of my favorite funny stories of my dear friend is probably her worst.

I was trying on clothes and she was waiting in the ladies clothing area. After the sales lady brought the rest of the outfits I had picked out, she went out to where my friend was waiting. The lady said "Oh my dear, let me get you a chair to set, you do not need to be standing in your condition." I was hysterical, my friend was not pregnant! When I came out my friend said I better not say a word. I must say, from that moment on she went on a very strict diet.

Happy Birthday! Love your banner! I have so many fun stories - I have known my best friend since we were 3 years old! One that still makes me giggle is when my friends cat was laying on the floor all stretched out. We tried to measure how long she was from nose to tail, but she kept moving. We laughed and laughed! Thanks for the chance to win!

Cute banner. Happy birthday. We always have a big BBQ on the 4th. The real party happens when almost everyone goes home. This year my BFF and neighbor came and stayed till the wee hours. My bil makes delicious wine. So several hours and bottles later there is lots of giggling and happiness. We still don't know what was so funny and at least there are no pictures. lol
Loads of fun making memories you can't remember.lol Thanks for the chance to win.

Once at a junior high sleep over, I chipped my bff's front tooth with a can a Redi-Whip. Whoops! She was able to correct the chip with help from her dentist, but for awhile there I was mean and called her Chippy.

What a cute banner! My friends and I went to Las Vegas when we were 30 and I'd tell you some of the stories, but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Shari (cricutrookie)

Some of the most fun I had with my best friend (my twin sister, now with the Lord) was crafting together. She taught me to look at things as something other than what they were meant to be. Repurpose, reuse, recycle . . .

Well bestie.. I won't mention your name... but remember when you decided to throw me a birthday party for my... well what number it was isn't important. but what date it was on...hmmm. She invited all my friends from a couple from in town but mostly from out of town to my suprise birthday but actually put the day before on the invites. They all showed up at the secret loctaion of the suprise party unfortunately... the suprise was. I was at work until midnight.. my girlfriend wasn't there and they had to party without us. We wound up doing brunch the next day before everyone had to head back home and laughed about it... my bestie felt horrible but stuff happens! She will always be my bestie... even if she is date-challenged!

fun friend moment was when my sister (my b.friend) & I went outside to build a tiny snowman with the snow & couldnt get the thing to stand up so we started a snow fight. I always have fun with her no matter where we are. We are from Ca so snow fights were awesome to us.

Birthdays are so fun! 30s aren't so bad :o)

My friend moment is from college, we went to UT Knoxville, and we woke up on a Saturday and found an all day Saved by the Bell Marathon. We stayed in bed ALL DAY in my dorm room in our pj's watching, we ordered pizza and were having so much fun! But at 8 or 9pm we decided to drive to Gatlinburg (an hour or so away) we went and cruised the strip in our PJ's!!! We didn't get out of the car of course - why we went who knows? But Saved by the Bell was over and we needed something else to do I guess - LOL!

Thanks for the chance to win such an awesome prize! Happy Birthday!
