Father's Day card

I made this card for my husband for Father's Day. I will probably let my daughter make him one too! If you can't tell, the doctor is holding a beer bottle in his hand ;) I am submitting this for My Pink Stamper's challenge this weekend.

I can't wait for my Peachy Keen face stamps to arrive in the mail! I ordered them last night. They are running a memorial day special. If you spend $25, you get 10% off and if you spend $20, you can get $.99 shipping. PLUS they have a really cute firecracker stamp for $.99 this weekend only! Check it out here.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone, and remember the reason you have Monday off and thank a veteran for their service to our country!

Recipe:
8.5 x 11 neutral colored cardstock, folded in half
My Mind's Eye patterned glitter paper
Doctor doll cut at 4 inches
My Hero cut at 2 inches
brown ink around edges
beer brad

Cause for Celebration

I got a Gypsy! I got a Gypsy!!!! I am soooooo excited! The prices dropped around the online stores, and I'm not exactly sure why (watch they will come out with some new cool one), but I snagged one up on ebay! I'm so excited to get it. I think it will allow me much more time to create on the go! Hopefully in a matter of days, I will be loading up all my cartridges on it so I can play play play!

Cricut Graduation Card

Grandpa card

Venturing over to the masculine side is always a challenge for me. I like sparkle, pink, bows and girly. When I have to create something for a guy, I sit at my table with this blank stare on my face and my eyes glaze over all my girly Cricut cartridges. Everyone has their faults, I suppose. I know these things: men like simple, men like dirt and men like golf. So voila! This is a Father's Day card for my father-in-law. He loves to golf and he loves being a grandpa :)

Recipe:
Stampin Up green cardstock
DCWV Metallics for bronze paper
Cuttlebug with Argyle embossing folder
Grandpa sticker from Michael's (My Big Ideas sticker pack)
Golf cart from Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge, stamped around edges with brown ink

Sweet! Thank you all for following me! I made this card real quick this afternoon. It's the first time I have used the Doodlecharms cartridge. The ribbon is from Michael's, isn't it too cute? They have a new summer line with fruits, beach and animals. 2 for $3 right now! The melon brad under the sweet stamp is from Eyelet Outlet and Brads....along with....

MY FIRST EVER VIDEO!!!!

It's probably horrible, but you gotta start somewhere right? I'll be posting that later.

A 100 FOLLOWER GIVEAWAY!!!!!!

Doggie vacay

My sister and her husband went to Vegas last week. We kept their doggie while they were gone. She is a sweet little girl who loves playing with my dogs. She loves to chew up balls, however. haha. I made this picture frame and card for them as a thank you for staying with us gift. Kind of similar to those free hotel soaps you get to take home from hotels ;)

So Dear layout

I tried My Pink Stamper's layout design, turned out pretty nice and simple!

My girl layout

Got quite a bit of scrapbooking done this weekend! I went out and bought page protectors yesterday and filled all my daughter's pages. Small problem - now all the pages don't fit in the book! Anyone have any extender recommendations? I'm thinking of trying out the Snapload Kit, anyone have any luck with those?

Cherish These Days Wedding Card

I had a lot of fun making this card last night. I don't make a lot of "elegant" looking pieces so I really enjoyed branching out. I think I'll do more! I got this ribbon at Hobby Lobby and I LOVE the colors. Hobby Lobby has 50% off ribbon this week!

Stamps Winner....

I don't do many double page spreads. In fact, this is probably only my 3rd one! I am going to start doing them more though, I love them. I think this one turned out pretty cute. The paper was on clearance at Hobby Lobby. The flowers are from the Sweethearts cartridge, the butterfly from SFTN. I also used the Martha Stewart button punch and ribbon from Michaels.

I need to find more time to get into my craft room though! I haven't been in since the weekend and it's starting to really annoy me. It's been a busy week. We are getting a new roof today! It is supposed to rain here all weekend, so I'm looking forward to finding the time this weekend.

Monday Blog Candy

It's Monday. We got home late last night from the Ben Folds concert. I don't want to be at work. Sooooo I'm giving away some stamps to cure my Monday blues! Happy Mother's Day!

Here is a card I made my mom for Mother's Day. I added an orange prima flower on the top left after I took the picture, I felt it needed a little something else! The inside says "Love you Nana".

Package of cards

I made this set of cards for my mom for Mother's Day. There are 3 cards in the package she can use whenever she needs to send a note.

Whipped up this fabulous card last night for a mama. I don't do a lot of red (usually reach for the pink!) but I like how this one turned out.

Thank you teachers!

I realized this week was Teacher Appreciation Week at my daughter's school (there was a sign posted on the door). I made these cards for her two teachers last night. I'm going to bake them some cookies or cupcakes tonight to take tomorrow!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #12: THE END!

"Critter-licious"
Use an animal! This card says "after a while crocodile!" Just easy and simple and what's even more exciting is.... I DID IT! 12 challenges for My Pink Stamper in honor of National Scrapbook Day! WOOT! This was an appropriate project for the last one. So....after a while, crocodiles!!!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #9

This challenge was to make a shape, any shape. I thought this would be a cute recipe card to hand out to friends and family when they wanted a new recipe to try. And ps, this recipe is so easy and SOOOO addicting and yummy! :)

My Hubby Rocks (Mother's Day Surprise)

Pop Quiz Time!
Who made this card?

A. My 2.5 year old daughter
B. An alien
C. My dog
D. My husband

For those that answered D, you are CORRECT! Tee hee. I couldn't make a blog post about my hubby without joking with him. In actuality, his first time Cricut skillz are pretty good. I think my first cut was way worse. So good job babe! More importantly, the card was attached to this amazing organization set up:

He is AWESOME!!! I went to go get a mani / pedi and I came home to this. He even put my paper stacks in there for me. I, of course, reorganized it by coordinating all of my solid card stock by colors so I can find it easier:

And now, since I have that, I have this on my desk....SPACE!

What a great Mother's Day present. He supports my crazy craft hobbies. Thanks so much!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #11

Colors of the Rainbow
Love how simple this one turned out. My daughter helped me with this one! She helped me decide where each flower should go :)

My Pink Stamper Challenge #10

May Day
Make something "springy" with a flower.
I made a flower with the Straight From the Nest cartridge. I love this pack from Stampin' Up!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #8

Love My Color
Challenge was to use all the same color on one project.
Super easy, cute card that will come in handy. I made this with Lyrical Letters cartridge, can you believe it? I was surprised to find this image on a font cartridge!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #7

Hey Dad!
This challenge was for dads! My daughter's dad (who also happens to be my husband) is a rock star in his career. I don't tell him enough, so I made him this card to show him how great he is! :)

My Pink Stamper Challenge #6

This challenge was called "Kids Craft, Too". It took me a little longer, but she loves horses!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #5

Teacher Appreciation
I made this card for one of my daughter's school teachers. A simple token of appreciation, they are great!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #4

I Like You The Least
The challenge was to use your least favorite cartridge. I got Stand and Salute with my rewards points and I just thought it would be a good one to have, thinking it would be great to send cards to troops overseas. It just rarely gets used, but I love this layout for 4th of July!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #3

Thinking outside the box
I used colors I normally wouldn't use. Also pulled out my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge which rarely gets used!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #2

"Getting Scrappy"
The challenge was to use scraps. I have a box full of 'em so that was easy!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #1

"Mother Dear, I Love You So"
Mother's Day Card for my mother-in-law! :)
