Father's Day card

I made this card for my husband for Father's Day. I will probably let my daughter make him one too! If you can't tell, the doctor is holding a beer bottle in his hand ;) I am submitting this for My Pink Stamper's challenge this weekend.

Cause for Celebration

I got a Gypsy! I got a Gypsy!!!! I am soooooo excited! The prices dropped around the online stores, and I'm not exactly sure why (watch they will come out with some new cool one), but I snagged one up on ebay! I'm so excited to get it. I think it will allow me much more time to create on the go! Hopefully in a matter of days, I will be loading up all my cartridges on it so I can play play play!

Grandpa card

Venturing over to the masculine side is always a challenge for me. I like sparkle, pink, bows and girly. When I have to create something for a guy, I sit at my table with this blank stare on my face and my eyes glaze over all my girly Cricut cartridges. Everyone has their faults, I suppose. I know these things: men like simple, men like dirt and men like golf. So voila! This is a Father's Day card for my father-in-law. He loves to golf and he loves being a grandpa :)

Doggie vacay

My sister and her husband went to Vegas last week. We kept their doggie while they were gone. She is a sweet little girl who loves playing with my dogs. She loves to chew up balls, however. haha. I made this picture frame and card for them as a thank you for staying with us gift. Kind of similar to those free hotel soaps you get to take home from hotels ;)

I tried My Pink Stamper's layout design, turned out pretty nice and simple!

Got quite a bit of scrapbooking done this weekend! I went out and bought page protectors yesterday and filled all my daughter's pages. Small problem - now all the pages don't fit in the book! Anyone have any extender recommendations? I'm thinking of trying out the Snapload Kit, anyone have any luck with those? 

Cherish These Days Wedding Card

I had a lot of fun making this card last night. I don't make a lot of "elegant" looking pieces so I really enjoyed branching out. I think I'll do more! I got this ribbon at Hobby Lobby and I LOVE the colors. Hobby Lobby has 50% off ribbon this week!

I don't do many double page spreads. In fact, this is probably only my 3rd one! I am going to start doing them more though, I love them. I think this one turned out pretty cute. The paper was on clearance at Hobby Lobby. The flowers are from the Sweethearts cartridge, the butterfly from SFTN. I also used the Martha Stewart button punch and ribbon from Michaels.

I need to find more time to get into my craft room though! I haven't been in since the weekend and it's starting to really annoy me. It's been a busy week. We are getting a new roof today! It is supposed to rain here all weekend, so I'm looking forward to finding the time this weekend.

Here is a card I made my mom for Mother's Day. I added an orange prima flower on the top left after I took the picture, I felt it needed a little something else! The inside says "Love you Nana".

I made this set of cards for my mom for Mother's Day. There are 3 cards in the package she can use whenever she needs to send a note.

Whipped up this fabulous card last night for a mama. I don't do a lot of red (usually reach for the pink!) but I like how this one turned out.

I realized this week was Teacher Appreciation Week at my daughter's school (there was a sign posted on the door). I made these cards for her two teachers last night. I'm going to bake them some cookies or cupcakes tonight to take tomorrow!

For those that answered D, you are CORRECT! Tee hee. I couldn't make a blog post about my hubby without joking with him. In actuality, his first time Cricut skillz are pretty good. I think my first cut was way worse. So good job babe! More importantly, the card was attached to this amazing organization set up:

He is AWESOME!!! I went to go get a mani / pedi and I came home to this. He even put my paper stacks in there for me. I, of course, reorganized it by coordinating all of my solid card stock by colors so I can find it easier:
