My Pink Stamper Halloween Design Team Project: Witch Princess card

One of my favorite things to do is to make Halloween "cute". I had a hard time deciding which My Pink Stamper Spooky Puns stamp to use, there were so many that worked with my witch princess! My runner up was "Too cute to spook" I love this set! I cut one of the princesses from Once Upon a Princess cartridge and used the witch hat from Happy Hauntings. I played around with it on my Gypsy until I got it the size I wanted and voila! Witch princess! :)

Motorcycle Chick Get 'em Tiger card

Vroom! Hi faithful bloggies and new visitors from My Pink Stamper! This was a free for all theme - whatever you wanted, so of course I had to go sassy! :) This cut from Rock Princess....phew, that's all I have to say! It provided me with quite a few obstacles. The biggest: I didn't want her shades because I needed to put a cute 'n sassy Laughy Taffy face stamp on her from Peachy Keen Stamps. I used fun flock for her belt, too! I thought this sentiment from My Pink Stamper's More Punnylicious stamp set was perfect for this girl who is really GOIN PLACES! ;)

Fun with Fun Flock!

Happy Monday morning bloggies! I lost my creativity for just a split second late last week, but it has returned! I hope to stay. These next couple of weeks are going to be really crazy for me. My daughter's birthday party is this weekend and then I leave for Vegas next week! However, I do have some fun things planned so not to fret!

This weekend we went to a Balloon Festival. My daughter loved it, it was so cool to see all the balloons launch! I got this really cool shot:

I bought some fun flock this weekend for the very first time! I got a really pretty summer colors set. It was really simple to use with my Zig glue pen. This stamp is another one from the Michael's $1 bin, love it!

It's All About Me card

So I was having a nice chat tonight with my crafty friend Kristi from Little Paper Sprinkles. I made her pick a letter (she picked H) and then a number (she picked 73). So I decided Hannah Montana for the H and something from page 73 of the handbook. OHhhhh boy... ONE music note on that page. HA! This is what I came up with. The stamp is another $1 Michael's wood stamp find! Isn't it cute? Love this series.

Peachy Keen Challenge #36

Peachy Keen Stamps is hosting another challenge! This week, we had to use the colors melon, daffodil and cobalt. Super challenging colors for me, not ones I reach for often. I am also entering this into Momo's "Just Because" challenge! Sorry this picture is so blurry, I took it with my iphone last night.

I am starting a little mini series using my new $1 wood stamps from Michael's, this is the first project. They have a really cute set right now with fun fonts (I am a font FREAK for those who didn't know) and sentiments and I bought a bunch of them.

Have a great Wednesday bloggies!

Random.org chose.......WHOO HOO!

Episode #16: Washcloth Flowers

Well, now that the tornado warning has expired, I can post my video and pictures! HA what a night. I made my second diaper cake, and also included a video on the washcloth flowers. I used the Simply Charmed cartridge for these images and I LOVE IT with Peachy Keen Stamps - I just remove the faces on the images with the hide / contour on my Gypsy and voila!

This video doesn't include the zipper flower tutorial because it was too long to combine, so I'll edit that one next.

Some exciting stuff coming up....some of you have expressed interest in learning a little more about Photoshop. Photoshop is a computer program that allows you to enhance your pictures and add special effects. I will be starting some Photoshop video tutorials very soon! Thanks for checking in bloggies :)

Labor Day Challenge + Giveaway!

I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend! I feel like I have gotten so much accomplished which is a great feeling, including cleaning my house! LOVE it. Today I hope to get some crafting time in after lunch with my family.

I decided to host a little challenge since the last one was so much fun and some of you have crafting time today! I have done a few layouts this weekend and I realized how much I need to do MORE layouts, and I'm sure you all do too....right? So let's do a layout! Link any layout below through Mr. Linky by Friday, Sept. 10 and I'll pick a random participant on Saturday to win these My Pink Stamper Fruit & Veggie Puns stamps!
Here is my layout for the challenge. PLEASE create a NEW layout for this challenge :)

Good luck and happy creating!

Jean Pocket card

I've had this design idea in my Gypsy for quite some time, and decided my card swap would be a good chance to use it for the March card. The pocket is from Old West and I blinged it out with my irock. The shamrock is from A Child's Year. I found the jean fabric at Hobby Lobby. I left the top of the jean pocket open so you could also make this a flat card and stick a note in the pocket!

Card Swap Cards

I have been busy this weekend finishing up Flowerdisco's card swap cards. 16 cards - 1 for each month + 3 extras. PHEW! I thought I would post a few of them here. The cartridges I used are posted in my tags at the bottom of the post.

I am running errands today, making a diaper cake, cleaning house and laundry, but first I need my COFFEE. Oh - and editing / posting my flower video! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Diaper Cake

I am co-hosting a baby shower for a friend at work tomorrow. Last night, I decided to try and make a diaper cake. I think it came out pretty cute for my first one! Her theme is elephants, green and gray. The cake board base I covered in fabric. The flowers are washcloths rolled up to look like flowers secured with baby safety pins and a zipper flower too! I hope you enjoy my video, it was a fun one to make!

Recipe:
cake board
fabric to cover board
tape
59 diapers size 1 (this is the amount and size I used:  bottom tier - 34, middle tier - 18, top tier - 7)
package of rubber bands or clear hair bands
(2) 8 oz. baby bottles (optional, I didn't use)
ribbon
baby toys / gifts
cake topper

The invitation I designed in Photoshop and then added some "scrapping" to it :)
