Hi friends! I am here tonight to post a few projects featuring Market Street Stamps June Releases. They are just so stinkin cute this month! 2 sets this month, both super cute. Here is my first card, featuring a cute cute cute compass! This stamp is going to be just 5 bucks!
I also whipped up this little goodie as well featuring the other set. It's hard to see the detail unless you click on the picture, but I just couldn't pass up stamping these lil marshmallow cuties!
This week, it's a sketch! How fun. I love sketches because they give me a new type of card layout, love that. I always find myself doing the same type of layout. This week, I used Echo Park's Summertime paper stack, my new scallop circle Nestibilities and of course the fabulous Peachy Keen Stamps Karaoke Birthday Set! Isn't he cute? I hope you enjoy. So what are you waitin for? Get to craftin and enter your challenge here. I'll be back Wednesday for a Market Street Stamps project, then I am off to Vegas for a few days....the slots, crap tables, pool and Cirque shows are callin my name! I am going from 104 degree heat to 110. Could I be more crazy!??!
Good Monday morning friends! I created a wedding shower card this weekend using Unity Stamps' Echo Park I Adore You set and Echo Park's paper Be Mine collection. I love black and hot pink! The rings are from the Wedding Solutions cartridge and ribbon from PaperTrey Ink. Have a great day!
It's time for another guest design spot over at Market Street Stamps. For this card, I used the Simple Joys set and the Vintage Music background stamp. The Simple Joys set is so versatile, you can basically create any sentiment you want, I love it! The Vintage Music background has been one of my favorites, I can always use this one in almost all of my projects. The vintage image is a cigarette card I picked up in an antique shop while in New Zealand, a true gem. I used Glimmer Mist and Tim Holtz Distress Ink for the card base. I hope you like my card today!
Happy Fridayyyyyyyyy friends! I am pretty excited it's the weekend. I hope to get some class time in to finish up my Soul Restoration Class projects as well as my Suzi Blu drawing class. Yahoo! Here is a card I made for Father's Day. I am not so great at 'manly' cards, but I sure keep tryin. Have a great weekend everyone!
Hola and Happy Tuesday friends! I'm determined to have a great day. So, I shall :) Last night, I worked on organizing my craft room a bit more. (It's a never ending job, isn't it?) I'm trying to organize my goods for a few upcoming craft fairs I hope to be participating in. I have been obsessed with making these easy rosettes with my ribbon stash and thought they would be cute on a leather cuff. I plan on listing this in my Etsy store....orrrrrrrrr sporting it myself ;) Have a creative day!
Hi friends! It's finally my turn over at Market Street Stamps to serve as a guest designer. I am building quite the stash of these fabulous beauties and I find myself reaching for them so often. I especially am fond of the background stamps - they are so easy! On with my project....
For this card, I used the Woodgrain background with Hippie Chic (one of my faves if I had to choose). I used Perfect Pearls to accent the background and sentiment. And, for an extra bonus, I made a quick video on how I make my ribbon rosettes. They are so easy and add so much to your paper crafts. I've even used them on headbands. Have a crafty day!
Hello friends! Crazy busy week. I'm so sorry I'm just now posting the winner of the blog hop....congrats to Kelly Braund, she is the winner of a $25 gift certificate to PKS! How sweet is that??? Congrats Kelly! Please email me your information. Now...onto PKS Let Face It Friday project! This week, we are challenged to make a patriotic project. How fun! I made a tag.
Hello friends! I hope you all are having a great weekend. I have spent a lot of my morning in the craft room which I am always grateful for my relaxation time. Today, I am participating in the Unity Stamp Co Kit of the Month Sketch Challenge. Yay for challenges! Here is my take on it. I used the current Kit of the Month for the stamp. It's so fun doing challenges because it gives me new card ideas.
Welcome Peachy lovers!!! Glad you could swing by today. I have a couple of projects for you using the new PK-287 Ballin' Bunnies set along with PK-291 Sampler Package of Faces. The Ballin' Bunnies set has sad faces, and the sampler package of faces have HAPPY faces! I wanted to show you how you can turn her / his frown upside down by simple stamp masking :) Kathy has a great tutorial on masking HERE. Please don't be intimidated by it, it really is an easy process and allows you to get the most out of these stamps! So you can either stamp the original sad bunny OR change it up to make the bunny happy!
I also wanted to create a project showing how you can use these precious faces with your Cricut as well! This little drivin bunny is from Baby Steps cartridge.
Peachy Keen Stamps is offering prizesssssssss of course! Leave a comment on this post for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to PKS! How awesome is that???? I'll draw a winner Monday night. After you leave a comment, you're off to the talented Joanna's blog to see what she has up her sleeve!

I felt compelled this afternoon to share with y'all a little bit about my Brave Girls Soul Restoration class. I've had a few of you ask me some questions about it. It's sort of one of those things you need to experience it yourself to really understand it, to get it. It's different for everyone who takes the class, but I hope you take just a few minutes to check out what Melody and her crew are doing over at Brave Girls Club. Melody seriously inspires me on a whole new level. Her work, her words, her motivation, it's all good stuff. The class and the things I have learned have completely changed my outlook on life. As an added bonus, I've stepped out of my comfort zone creatively and explored all KINDS of new techniques and mediums. Like acrylic paint. Who knew it was so ...GOOD for my soul. And Mod Podge. Love that stuff. Melody calls it soul glue, and I totally get how she believes that. Here is just one page from my book I'm creating. It's beautiful to me because it's ME and raw and unplanned and just....ART.
I have learned to do it anyway.
To bring out the good, and move out the bad.
To do the things that make me happy.
The end. But it's not really the end, cause I am still growing :)
What makes me happy? A sale. I love sales. I feel like I'm rewarding myself all while saving money! Or something like that....
Last night as I was trying to fall asleep, I thought....why not have a sale on my paper stacks? And because I can, I did. They are normally $11 but right now, they are $8 with FREE SHIPPING! I am also trying to clean out my stash....

When we hop on Friday with the full projects, I'll announce the winner - as well as give away ANOTHER fabulous prize!!! So leave me a comment for your chance to win. Good luck!
Welcome to my artsy craftsy slice of blogland! Being creative is one of my favorite things to do in life. In fact, I do it everyday and never get sick of it. My favorite things to create in my craft room include cards, smash books (my version of scrapbooking), mixed media, altered art and even a little sewing. During normal business hours, I'm a graphic designer.
