September Ninth Guest Designer Summer Easel Card

Helloooooooo friends! I am so excited to be a guest designer for Miss Ruthie aka my Peachy Sister today over on her blog! Ruthie asked me to design something with a summer theme and I got inspired jamming to the song Knee Deep by Zac Brown Band... "Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair".  Love it! Here is my summer easel card:
Recipe:
Stampin Up card stock
DCWV patterned papers
Life's a Beach + Pack Your Bags Cricut cartridges
The Twinery twine (and lots of it!)
Martha Stewart Edge Punch
Market Street Stamps Chillaxin stamp set - sentiment

My favorite is the itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini! ;) Here's a quick tutorial on how I made my twine pom pom.
Start with a plastic fork and some twine. (easy enough)
Wrap twine around fork about 30 times, depending on how "poofy" you want your pom pom.
Cut off twine. Cut another piece of twine about 4 inches long and weave through the middle of the fork with the ends at the back. Knot twice.
Cut off loops on both sides.
Smash down the center from the other way and poof until you get it to look like you want and voila!

I hope y'all enjoyed my summer easel card today. I would love it if you would head over to her blog HERE and leave some sweet comments! xoxo

Sugar Monkey Flower + Market Street Stamps Card

Another post today friends! This time, I'm here to show you the card I created with Market Street Stamps and one of my Sugar Monkey Flowers. For this card, I used Kraft cardstock as the base. I then cut out a sassy dress from the Formal Occasions Cricut cartridge then stamped it with Market Street Stamps Vintage Wallpaper stamp in embossing ink. Then I used Perfect Pearls in copper to pretty up the dress. The sentiment is from Market Street Stamps Simple Joys set. Then I attached a Sugar Monkey Flower in Midnight to jazz it up.
I am entering this into Market Street Stamps Block Party challenge. I hope you can join them over there, they are giving away some fabulous prizes! AND have you seen their August New Releases today? So cute. I just lurve them ;) There are a few background stamps and then a few sets this release. I am going to definitely be adding these gems to my MSS collection!

Introducing Sugar Monkey Flowers!

Hey gang! I hope you are all enjoying this lovely Friday morning. I love when it's Friday :)
So....I've been SUPER busy working on my newest products. Guess what? They're LIVE! Right now! In my store. On this site, I am listing the 3 set packs specifically designed for scrappers and crafters. There is a winter pack, summer pack, fall pack and spring pack.
You can use these babies on just about anything! Cards, layouts, home decor projects, girly things - the list is limitless. Here's a close up of one of the colors, Apple. For more pictures, check out my store.
These flowers also look cute as barrettes or headbands, so I have added those to my Etsy store HERE.

They come in 12 different colors, so you can get one to match every outfit! They make great birthday gifts or baby shower gifts. I've tested them out on my daughter's head and mine, and they look cute on any age girl :)

I've been having a blast making these gorgeous flowers. They are custom made by my OWN hands. Support local crafters, buy homemade! Well, I'm off to go work on fulfilling flower orders. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello friends! Happy Friday :) my favorite day of the week other than Saturday. Today, I'm posting my Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Friday challenge! I did a 2 page scrapbook layout, can you believe it? I know, neither can I ;)I decided to scrap our trip to the circus last weekend.

Altered Crayon Box

Happy Sunday crafty friends! Is everyone ready for school to start up again? I bought some crayons for my daughter the other day and they came on this super cool crayon box. It reminded me of a cigar box, which I have been wanting to alter for a while now, but didn't have a cigar box. So...this was my next best idea.

I used Cosmo Cricket's Odds and Ends Mini Deck for the patterned papers, a whole lot of Mod Podge andddddd the tag on top. The tag says "I am a brave girl" because this box will be used to hold all of my Brave Girls Club Soul Restoration truth cards. I sanded down the edges and painted the edges with aqua paint. I was also able to try out my new Melody Ross Chip Art set I got a while back from HSN! I am going to have a lot of fun with that thing, even though my Erin tag doesn't look too hot ;)
I love looking something that's about to hit the trash can and thinking "wait - I can make something cool from that". It's one of the best things about being a crafter!

Have a great rest of your weekend <3

I Love My Teacher Blog Hop

Hello dear friends and welcome newbies! I'm so glad you took time to stop by my little space on the web where I love to share my love of paper crafts. So what's goin on today? It's a I Love My Teacher Blog Hop hosted by Abby! This hop was a no-brainer for me. My daughter absolutely adores her teacher! She is the BEST and I'm so glad she gets to keep her for the fall, too. To start her off with the school year properly, I made her this card set. I didn't take a picture, but I packaged them all up in a clear box with a note for her as well. I hope you enjoy my simple cards. I like to keep card sets simple since I'm creating multiples.
For these cards, I used my Nestibilities, some patterned paper I had in my stash, my Unity Stamp Co Kit of the Month (You Rock stamp) and Peachy Keen Stamps Faceless Fruit paired with Retro Faces.

Now....onto the next blog on the hop...Gaby! (Who also happens to be a librarian...how fitting) Oh, and make sure you leave comments along the way so you can be entered to win some AWESOME prizes Abby is giving away, including a paper pack from yours truly, Erin Lee Creative :)

Happy New Baby card

So slowly but surely, I am getting back into my crafting. I still haven't loaded a mat into my Cricut for quite some time, but mostly because I am trying to stick to the basics of stamping and and other craft projects right now. I don't even know what the new cartridges are right now. GASP....and I'm okay with that.

Last night, I broke out my Peachy Keen Stamps CottageCutz Duck and Egg Die. These dies are FABULOUS. They are SO easy to run through your Cuttlebug or Big Shot and it creates all the pieces you need. I need to order more because they are just too cute and easy. Isn't this little ducky so precious?
Thanks for stopping by today...we are off to the circus! Can't wait!

Let's Face It Fridays: Shaped Cards

Hello friends! Happy Friday to you! I just love me some Fridays, what a great day. Tomorrow, we are headed to the circus - yahoo! My daughter is going to love it. I, on the other hand, might have some issues since I hate clowns, but this is what you do for your children. Anyway....

This week, Peachy Keen Stamp's Let's Face It Fridays Challenge is to create a shaped card. How fun! So break out those Cricuts...even though I didn't. I got this card idea from Barb, my lovely Stampin Up rep using my Nestibilities dies. I went over to her house the other day to pick up my order and she helped inspire me to get crafting again, so thank you Barb! And of course, don't forget your cute lil Peachy Keen Faces!
