Good Luck With That card

Ohhhhh this stamp just makes me LAUGH. It's just my type of humor. And it's so cute! I wanted to make a "boyish" card using my new Heidi Swapp papers - love this stack, lots of oranges and blues. Love that color combo. Unity stamp can be found HERE.
Have a nice Sunday everyone!

Your Journey card

Hello dear friends. Does anyone read my blog posts anymore? haha. Just checkin.

Stamp of the Week - UNITY STYLE! Lovin this butterfly. I used various glimmer mist colors masked with paper. You can't tell in the picture, but I used a Stampin Up embossing folder on the black. Spellbinders, corner rounder, embossing powder, rhinestones....voila!

Wishing You Joy Tag

Howdy y'all! It's Monday. I'm struggling with a bit of Monday blues, but have no fear - I will prevail! My head is also spinning with ideas, lots and lots of creative ideas - so I will take it and see where they lead me! Last night I made a tag for the Unity Stamp Kit of the Month Challenge blog. So fun! Love trying out new sketches. I made a tag for this one with the new Kit of the Month. Aren't those poppies just gorgeous?
Wishing you joy this {not so lovely} Monday. Silver linings, right?

Dream With Your Heart Card

Sooooo....I can't help myself from inking this girl on just about any kind of paper I can. I LOVE mixing up her dress! She just looks gorgeous in all colors and patterns. :) I need MORE of these girls!!!!! I'm just sayin...
Okay, enough of the Angie girl. For now...heehee. I have a feeling I'll be dressing her up again really soon. The paper stack I used on this card is Heidi Swapp's Sugar Chic....also a new favorite of mine.

Dream Tag

Woah...Blogger changed on me! Weird. Change is good I suppose.

I wanted to share a tag I made yesterday with you. I got the new Angie Girl stamp set from Unity and I am in LOVE, it is such a beautiful stamp set. I made a card as well I will be posting shortly!

Have a beautiful relaxing Sunday friends.

One Hour Challenge Card

Howdy y'all! I hope everyone is having a great start to their Wednesday. Last night, I wanted to have a little challenge craft with friends. So I posted a sketch I found on Paper Crafts Magazine Pinterest Board. I love their sketches! Here it is:
Isn't it a fun one? Here's what I came up with for mine. I used Unity Stamp Company's Best Wishes & Blooms stamp set. I have had this set for QUITE a while and have never even opened the package - so that was fun to use.
I would love to see you challenge yourself with this sketch as well - if you do, please tag me on Facebook so I can see or you can link to it on my comments. You should give it a try! It would make me very proud :) Thanks to the girls that played along with me last night on Facebook!

Most Likely to Succeed Card

TGIF! Oh and hey, look, TGIF is included in my card today! :)
I created this card using sticky back cork I found at Michael's. So fun using different textures on cards. I used Unity Stamp Company's stamp set Smarty Pants. I have used this set so much! I even pulled my Cricut out for this one - I die cut the A+.

have a fabulous weekend everyone!

Imagination card

Hiiiiiiii friends! Erin here with another fun and fabulous Phyllis Harris / Unity card today. I LOVE her stamps, they are so fun. Maybe it's because I read Highlights religiously as a kid? Who knows. Anyway, they are really fun to color and paper piece. The stamp set I used for this card is Happiness Is... Just a simple card with the focus on the swinging girl. Doesn't this make you just want to go out and PLAY? :)
Imagination really can take you anywhere. Have a great one!

Happy Spring card

Hi bunnies! Popping in today to show you a card I made for Easter using Unity Stamp Company's Sweet Thoughts of Spring stamp set. I even broke out my sewing machine for this one! I need more thread colors - mission for the week.
Have a great week!

Leaf Without You card

Hi everyone! I'm pretty happy to welcome Wednesday. Yesterday, the Dallas Forth Worth area got slammed with tornadoes popping up out of nowhere. So crazy. My thoughts are with those that lost their homes in these massive storms.

I wanted to share with y'all today a card I made a while ago for a Paper Crafts Magazine call - specifically paper piecing. Paper piecing is such a fun way to make your cards pop, if you have the patience. My favorite scissors for paper piecing are my pink Cutterbees.

I used Unity Stamp Company's Leaf Without You itty bitty stamp that can be found here. Have a great day! xoxo
