Style card

Good morning sunshines! I wanted to post a card I made a few nights ago. I wanted to play with my new Christy Tomlinson backgrounds from Unity Stamp Company. They are SO fun! I have more on the way ;) I also used Unity's Stamp of the Week and even drug out my sewing machine (MAN I need to work on my straight lines). I used my Tim Holtz Distress Markers on watercolor paper - my favorite technique currently.
Make it a GREAT one! xoxo

Peachy Keen Stamps Halloween/Fall Blog Hop

Hi friends! I'm here today as part of the Peachy Keen Stamps Halloween/Fall Blog Hop! I'm so excited to be back with the Peachy Crew, just like the good old days. I made a card using The Uglies. Heehee! These faces make me giggle.

I embossed them inside the Stampin Up Peek-A-Boo Big Shot Die circles with white embossing powder and blinged them up with Stickles. Then, I die cut the letter B to match the O's with my Silhouette. A little embossing with an embossing folder, "gooey" paper and Halloween twine, and voila, you've got yourself a cute little Halloween card.

Thanks so much for stopping by my little space in the Blogosphere. Your next stop is the talented Lauren. Have fun!

Moxie Fab World Challenge: Repetition {Change Card}

Hi friends! Happy Saturday :)
I'm posting today to share with you the card I made for the Moxie Fab World Repetition Challenge. I love the look of repetitive stamping on cards, just keeping it simple. I don't do it often - but it's a cool concept. Here's my card using Unity Stamp Company's Change Is A Good Thing Itty Bitty. Had fun with this one!
Thanks for checking out my card today. Peace, love and craftiness.

Unity Friends With Flair {Halloween Greetings}

Angie Blom is my hero. She creates BEAUTIFUL art that Unity then turns into stamps. The end result is me getting to color pretty images to put on my cards. WIN! {She's also a very nice gal} :)

Today I'm sharing a Unity card I made last night for Friends with Flair. YAY for cute little witches!
Sometimes it's just really nice to create without a purpose, just for fun. I used my Tim Holtz Distress Markers to color the witch. My favorite thing to do as of recently!

Have a fabby weekend.

New Specs!

Hi friends! Ever heard of Firmoo? Yeah...I hadn't either....read on.

I was contacted by this nice gentleman from a company called Firmoo about doing a review of their product...and of course I said yes because I LOVE glasses. I've always been blind, and 80% of the time, I wear contacts but some days I just like rockin the spectacles. So I do.

I picked out these gems. LOVE the Wayfarers right now.
Received them super lightening fast and they were super cheap. Total winning combination. I have ordered glasses online before and usually I need to have them fitted at my eye doctor, but I slipped these on and they fit perfectly! They are super lightweight and feel pretty sturdy, which comes in handy when I fall asleep reading, which is quite often. I can trust these will stay intact even after waking up with my face smashed into my pillow. I could see great too. I was also really please with the thin lenses - I have severe astigmatism (think almost blind) and I am deathly afraid of ending up with bottle caps - but these are super thin and anti-glare. I will definitely be hitting Firmoo up again for my next purchase.

Here's a picture of me in my new specs. Yeah, I snapped the picture in my car. It's called natural lighting, people.
Enjoy the rest of your day! xoxo

Sending a Cuppa Love {Angelica's Farewell Blog Hop}

Hi friends! Long time, no see. I've been well...busy. But NEVER too busy for a terrific friend and all around awesome girl. Angelica is stepping down from her post as Peachy Keen Goddess and pursuing new opportunities. LOVE that! It's all about taking risks and pushing your boundaries in life, right?
I created this card for her just to send her some love. I know she will do awesome with anything she puts her heart into and I just wish her the best :) Love ya girlie!
For this card, I used her company's (Market Street Stamps) Daily Grind set. Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores paper, Tim Holtz kraft core copper paper, swiss dots embossing folder, copper embossing powder, Stampin Up ribbon and Spellbinders Nestabilities.

Onto the next stop on the hop....Samantha! Have fun!
