Growing in Unity Girl

Hi everyone! I'm so excited...this week I'm the Growing in Unity Girl! To most of my blog followers, this comes as no surprise. I LOVE Unity. I use their stamps on 99% of my projects. I can't say enough great things about that company. I would love if you headed over to their blog and left a comment there and here as well. At the end of the week, I will choose one lucky commenter from any of my blog posts this week to win 2 (TWO) Itty Bitty stamps of their choice! Sharin the red rubber stampin love :)

For the Unity blog post, I created some fun gift bags that were SUPER easy. I love wrapping gifts up in unique packaging, and these kraft gift bags are a great thing to have on hand to throw a gift in.

I'll be back tomorrow with my FIRST Design Team project for Susan K Weckesser. And  Friday again for Friends with Flair! See you soon...

WCMD Unity Challenge #5: Fall

This is it! I went a little out of order, but this is my final card completed for Unity's WCMD Challenge! I'm so happy that I have created 8 cards I love for this challenge. So fun! Maybe I'll get SUPER lucky and win the grand prize, that would be so dreamy.

For this card, I used one of my favorite new sets, Deer to Me. There are two deer in this set along with really cute little sentiments to go with.
I used my Tim Holtz Distress markers for this sweet little guy and Bo Bunny's Forever Fall papers.

WCMD Unity Challenge #8: Color Combo

Hmmmm....pumpkin, olive, brown and cream.....not really Erin colors I jump for every time. Oh well, hence the word challenge I guess! Here's what I came up with for this CAS card using a new Unity Itty Bitty. I love this little mushroom and the sentiment.

WCMD Unity Challenge #7: Coloring

I LOVE coloring! I use my Prismacolors Colored Pencils, Tim Holtz Distress Markers for water coloring and also my Promarkers. Totally just depends on my mood. Here is a card I made coloring using my Prismacolors. This is the You're My Bestie Itty Bitty. So sweet!

WCMD Unity Challenge #6: stamp a border

Hi friends! I skipped Challenge #5...for now. Here's #6: Stamp a Border! I used a Christy Tomlinson background stamp and Susan K Wekesser's Grandma's Needpoint stamp set. LOVE.
Have I mentioned how much I love my Tim Holtz Distress Markers? I think I have :)

Unity WCMD Challenge #4: Sketch

Yo! Sunday night. End of the weekend. Choosing to be positive about this. :) Unity Stamp Company WCMD Challenge #4: Sketch-a-roo!

I've done a sketch similar to this before and I didn't LOVE it but this time around, I enjoyed it more. I used the Go See Do Itty Bitty as well as another Unity set for the map. Also tried out my new Tim Holtz mask, ruined it, but it looks cool! ha. The papers are from the Kaisercraft set Check In. WOW I am in LOVE with this stack. One of those I don't want to use up. I am a sucker for all travel related craft products though.
Have a great week, people!

Unity WCMD Challenge #3: Embossing

Good morning, friends. I am here to post the card I made for Unity's WCMD Challenge #3: Embossing. I made this one yesterday and didn't get a chance to blog it. I hope to get a few more of the challenges done today. {Can we officially change the name to World Card Making Week?}
For this CAS (casual and simple) card, I used Papertrey Ink's Hawaiian Shores cardstock, Unity Stamp Co Donna Poppies (LOVE this stamp set so much) a SU sentiment stamp and white embossing powder. I also shaded the poppy to give it some dimension with my Promarkers.
Thanks for stopping by!

WCMD Unity Challenge #2: Texture

No, I'm not whipping these cards up in 5 minutes. I got three done and am posting them at once :) Then I will forge ahead! This is the card I made for Challenge #2: Texture. I LOVE adding texture to my cards. There's a lot of Unity and Tim Holtz love on this one. I made the pinecone with Tim Holtz's die. Love / hate with this thing, I tell you. Took me 20 minutes to make the darn pinecone. Ah well, it's what I love to do.

World Card Making Day! Unity Challenge #1: Shaped Card

Hello and welcome to my bloggy blog! I am going to be posting {hopefully} a few cards today in honor of World Card Making Day. I am playing along today with Unity Stamp Company's challenges. So fun, join in if you can! The first challenge is to create a shaped card. Here is mine. I used my Spellbinder Nestabilities to create the card base and Unity's Phyllis Harris co-branded stamps. I just LOVE coloring in her sweet images. {Hint hint: They are actually running a sale right now on these gems.}
 Off to the next challenge! See you in a bit :)
