Susan K Weckesser & Unity Stamps Blog Hop

Hi friends! Welcome to my little creative space on the internet. You should've arrived from Angie's blog.
During this 2-day hop, both SKW and Unity Design Teams will be sharing Simple Christmas Card Ideas using Unity Stamps designed by Susan K Weckesser Inc.

We are giving away two chances to win an amazing prize package containing a generous variety of Susan K Weckesser stamps co-branded with Unity Stamps. For a chance to win, visit each blog and leave a comment. Then come back on Dec 3 to find out if you are a winner at Susan K Weckesser Inc and Unity Stamp Co blogs.

Today, I created a sweet Christmas card using Susan's stamp set Celebration of Simple. Banner stamps turned into a Christmas tree!

This card is what you get when you mix Susan and Tim Holtz. {wait - that sorta sounded bad...heehee}
I used Recollections kraft cardstock for the base and embossed a Tim Holtz Christmas embossing folder. I stamped the banner stamps and cut them out, then added some Heidi Swapp Tinsel mist. I also stamped the sentiment and cut that all up.
The branch and cardinal are both Tim Holtz dies, as are the metal numbers.

Now, you will be moving right along to the talented Carisa. I'm sure she's colored up something super fabulous for you all! Thanks for stopping by...see you next time!

Paper Crafts Magazine November Gallery Challenge

Helllllooooo out there....::echo::

I hope you ALL had a wonderful and joyful Thanksgiving. I sure did. <3 p="p">
I have been determined to get to know my Cameo more. It sort of has been sitting neglected in the corner and I realize it's me just being lazy, so I'm learning more and more about it and playing with it and guess what? It's an amazing machine! I love it. I have been into reverse die cuts on cards lately and I wanted to show you one I created for the Paper Crafts Magazine November Gallery Challenge, which was WASHI.
Die cutting? No problem. Lining up the washi? Not so easy...but love how it turned out!

Unity Friends With Flair Friday {whoop!}

OMG...Friday, my old friend, we meet again! So happy to see you. {mwah!}

I'm happy to see you all, too! I'm posting a card I made last night JUST for Friends with Flair. I love creating just for the f.u.n. of it.
I'm pretty much obsessed with embossing folders right now, especially Tim Holtz ones. I LOVE this one...love NYC!
Have a great day, peeps. xoxo

One of a Kind card

Yo! That's right ....me again. Twice in one day ::gasp::

I'm posting this sweet little reject card on my blog today. And by reject, I just mean Paper Crafts Magazine didn't pick it up on their last call. I still love it though! Totally represents my retro style. Who doesn't feel all nostalgic when they see a cassette tape, I mean really? Brings me back to memories of sticking my little finger in one of those holes to rewind when my tape player was broken.

For this card, I used Papertrey Ink kraft, October Afternoon's Midway paper, October Afternoon's 9-5 die cut, BossyJoscie Flair and Paper Smooches Word Salad stamp set, embossed with black glitter embossing powder.
Cool, dude!

I am posting a little card today I made. Mustaches are all the rage! I used a Unity sentiment from an Itty Bitty called Fabulous Girl. The patterned paper is from Studio Calico. The mustache is all furry. HAHA!

Pretty {Neon} Packaging

Hi everyone! I'm here today to post my first Susan K. Weckesser design team project!  How exciting! I am so happy to be a part of her design team. This chick is a beautiful soul, inside and out. Her artwork is amazing and I love using her art to make my own art. Lovely how that all works out so well, huh? I have been using Unity stamps for a looooooong time, so I knew when Susan and Unity teamed up, it would be a perfect match. The quality of their stamps is unmatched and Susan's art in the form of red rubber makes me happy.

So today, I'm sharing with you a package I made using Susan's stamp set Celebration of Simple. Love these big ole banners!

Here is a video on how I made this:

I hope you enjoyed my little package video today and you are inspired to create some unique packages for the upcoming holidays.

Can you do me a little favor? Can you please visit Susan's Facebook page and tell her hello and that I sent you? I would greatly appreciate it! {muah}

 Until tomorrow!
