Gobble til ya Wobble.

Yep. Thanksgiving is coming, people. You know what this means....pumpkin pie!!!! It's a great time of the year, if I do say so myself. So when I saw this cute little guy, I couldn't WAIT to color him up and create my first Thanksgiving card of the year with him!
And yes, I will be gobbling til I wobble that day...no doubt!

Next up, is another release....so graphic and cool. I love graphic images to make cards with.
It has a totally hip and tribal feel to it and it's a great stamp for creating backgrounds.

So how do you get these awesome new releases? EASY. So all weekend, it's a 55% off sale at Unity!

THEN, if you spend $30, you get one of these kits. If you spend $60, you get BOTH! Awesome.
Next up on the hop is the talented Jolande....have fun hopping and don't forget to comment for PRIZES!

Sunday FUNDAY!

Hi friends!

It's Sunday. Went to church. Hung out. Napped. Crafted. Getting ready to make breakfast for dinner. Not a bad day.

I made two cards today for the Paper Crafts Magazine August Gallery Challenge that can be found here. The challenge is bright and cheery encouragement cards and there is a ton of inspiration on there!

They are definitely cheery by my standards! Lots of Papertrey Ink products used here, in fact all the stamps and dies are except the watercolor brush stamps are from My Favorite Things.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Best. Day. Ever. {Lil Inker Designs 3rd Birthday}

Hello! I made a card tonight for Lil Inker's 3rd Birthday Challenge...whoop! I love Lil Inker's products. I have a few of their dies {but no stamps :(} so I had to get creative with the dies I do have. I used Stitched Circles and Stitched Rectangles for this card, they are SO fun and I reach for these dies frequently.
Thanks for stopping by!

You Say Witch Like It's A Bad Thing

Happy Monday folks!

Posting a Halloween card today, one of my new Unity sentiment releases. It comes with a cute witch hat created by Angie Blom, too! I used my Cameo to cut out the witch, love this cut. The star strip is a My Favorite Things die. Halloween will be here before you know it! Mwahahhaha...
Thanks for stopping by today! Sending love and happiness to you all. xoxo

Craft Room Organization Project {die storage}

So for the past week or so, I've been having a freak out about my die storage...or should I say lack there of? Currently, I had dies pretty much everywhere. The ones that match my stamp sets were in the stamp packages in the fridge bin, but others were just throw in there randomly and the rest were in a wicker box in my closet. 80% of my Spellbinders had fallen out of the CD cases and were a tangled, jumbled mess at the bottom of the box. HUGE. MESS. I didn't even know what I had anymore!

So after some browsing on Google and Pinterest and discussion with some crafty friends, I decided on a solution that was going to work best for me. My biggest thing I wanted was to be able to SEE all my dies so I knew what I had and could easily grab them to use them.

Off to Staples to buy these supplies for only $40. Magnet paper sheets and Command poster stickers (that will easily come off when I want them to - added bonus!)
I got started on my closet doors. Some may think I am crazy for doing this on the OUTSIDE of the door, but again, I wanted easy access and visibility was key. These sheets were 8.5 x 11 which was almost perfect for the panels on the closet doors, I had to cut 1/4" off to make them 8 1/4". I traced the arch on top and cut the magnet paper out to match. I then adhered the Command strips liberally so they would stay put.
Once I got all the sheets up, I put my sweet helper to work. She LOVES to organize so this was right up her alley! She had so much fun with this. Love it. We arranged them together and figured out what would be best, and ended up with THIS!
I can't express to you how much I love how this turned out. It's perfect for me. Other than the fact I may need to do a Spellbinders purge because I'm almost full up....

The nice thing about this is I can do the exact same to the inside of the doors if I wanted to as my collection grows, which we all know will most likely happen.

p.s. I decided to keep my dies that matched my stamp sets in my stamp storage bags in the fridge bins so they could stay together.

I hope you enjoyed my little organization project for the day! xoxo

This way to birthday fun {Avery Elle + Moxie Fab World challenges}

Hi there, friends! I'm participating in a couple of challenges this weekend. One is the August AEI<3u a="" challenge=""> that's taking place on the Avery Elle blog and also the Moxie Fab World's Trendy Triangles Challenge. LOVE it when I have time to partake in challenges!
I love the way this one turned out. I find a color inspiration palette that I loved, so I worked with that. The numbers are from Papertrey Ink, but the rest is Avery Elle {Aim High stamps and dies and Texture Tiles}. It's actually a card that's being used, so it's headed off to the mailbox tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Monochromatic You & Me

Yo! Second post of the day...I'm on fire!

So I really wanted to enter the Simon Says Stamp Challenge this week. The challenge was to create a monochromatic card. I want to get better at shading and choosing different variants of inks, so I thought this would be perfect. Bonus points if we used Paper Smooches stamps. Score!
I love the Bold Blooms set! So much that I ordered Reflections. I think those two sets will pair up nicely! Yay! Oh...and that little strip? That's a stamp from Crystal Clear. All Paper Smooches!

While I was creating this card, I was thinking I need to organize all my various inks better and make a color chart to know what I have and what pairs up best with my cardstock. Weekend project, perhaps? I'll show you guys what I come up with if it actually gets done! Thanks for checking out my blog post.

Give Thanks

It's another Unity Thursday! I love this time to sit down with my beloved red rubber and ink up something fun. Remember when I told you I was totally and completely ready for fall? Well, the current Kit of the Month really helps me get in the mood with all these beautiful leaves to choose from.
I was inspired to use the colors from Unity's new monthly Be Inspired Challenge that's starting up today. If you need a kick start to get excited for fall, check out the color palette for the challenge....oo la la! Isn't this gorgeous?
I hope you can play along with us this month, because the prizes for the winner are just fantastic.
Don't forget to check out some of the new releases this week over at Unity, too. I've created a little sentiment "You say witch like it's a bad thing" that goes so well with a cute witchy hat! hee hee.

Your next stop along the way is the talented Jolande. Have fun!

Yes, more feathers.

I'm sorry, people. You are going to have to deal with more feathers from me for a bit. I LOVE this set. In love. {WPlus9 Fanciful Feathers}
That is all. :)

Paper Smooches Crystal Clear

Hi! Posting a card tonight that I made today for the Paper Smooches Be Our Guest Challenge. I recently got a few new Paper Smooches sets that I haven't been able to ink up, until now! LOVE this Crystal Clear set with the matching mason jar die.
I decided to use vellum and clear emboss the Ball stamp onto the jar.

The sentiment is from Simply Said. Bossy Joscie flair, of course and sequins to finish it off. Thanks for checking out my card! xoxo

Fun With Feathers from WPlus9

I got my WPlus9 order in yesterday. I skipped all the way down my driveway with that package. Last night I had some free time, so you better believe I ripped into those fresh stamps right away! I used the sets Basic Banners (and die)Fanciful Feathers (and die) and So 80's for these cards.
And for this simple one, I stamped the banner and masked it before stamping over the mask with the feathers in Hero Arts Shadow Inks.
I'm linking these up for Monday Mood Board #18 over on the WPlus9 blog, too! I also got Monogrammed, which I can't wait to play with either! I hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday.

Back to School with Unity!

Hi there friends! I'm blogging today to share with you a card I made with a new Unity release, just in time for back to school. Our school year starts next Thursday which is so crazy! My little one will be in Kindergarten and she is so excited. School supplies are ready to go.

I created a shaker card with the apple inside. So much fun to make!
Be sure to head over to the Unity website to check out this week's fabulous sale.
Onto the next stop...Jolande
