Golden Girls.

Hiya friends! I'm posting today for the Unity Thursday Hop. Hooray!

Yep. If you were still wondering, I am still on the gold kick. Can't. Get. Enough. I purchased some of Silhouette's Gold Foil Adhesive...wow, love that stuff. Cuts perfectly in my Cameo.

Add that with my current obsession of embossing pastes, stencils and Unity's I Am Woman set and these are the little beauties I came up with.

Your next stop on the hop is Jolande! Have a fabulous day!

Fabulous. {Technique: Clear Embossing Paste}

Hi! Soooo...I'm officially in LOVE with Wendy Vecchi's clear embossing paste. Wow. So fun to play with! My photography of my card does not do this paste justice, but trust me - it is SO cool in person.
I used Technique Tuesday's fabulous die that I've had for a while and have never used. See those stars in the background? That's a stencil using clear embossing paste. It reminds me of whitening gel for your teeth. Random, yes.

Have a great one!

Sun, Moon, Stars. {Stenciled Class}

Hey people! It's Saturday! Hooray.

I am taking the Online Card Class Stenciled. I LOVE these classes! It started yesterday, so there is still time to join in on the fun without being too far behind. I love stencils, but they have been collecting dust in my craft room because they are a bit overwhelming to me. So this class is a perfect way for me to branch out!

I used the technique of heat embossing using my stencil and then blending Tim Holtz Distress Inks into the card. I then sprayed some Heidi Swapp mist and adhered a few sequins. The technique isn't perfect, but it's a start. The sentiment is from Unity's Kit of the Month Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful.
I'm also linking this up to the Moxie Fab World Trendy Star Power Challenge!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! xoxo

Bottled up happiness.

Hi friends! I have some crafty time this morning - yay! It seems hard to come by these days, but that's okay. I created this card using a Unity Kit of the Month called Happiness has no Limit. I just totally love Unity's kits, they are so fun and always have such a great variety.
I used vellum to stamp the jar and placed little sequins in to match the patterned paper behind it. Super easy! I like happy cards. I also LOVE this 6x6 stack by Carta Bella called Wildflower.

Your next hop on the stop is Joslyn! Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a PRIZE PACK!

Pink + Gold {Paper Smooches}

I promise I will move on soon from the pink and gold obsession. Well, maybe not promise....

Another card created with gold, black and pink, this time using Paper Smooches stamps! LOVE their new releases, so so pretty.
I used Positive Strokes and Scripty Sayings. LOVE!

Have a great weekend, everyone! xo

More Gold + Pink {Neat and Tangled}

Well. You may be wondering if I'm officially obsessed with pink and gold by now. This is my third consecutive card using this color combo, so I think it's safe to say I am. LOVE it!
For this card, I used a fun new technique I tried out using embossing paste. This particular gold is Studio 490 Wendy Vecchi gold embossing paste that I bought at my local stamp store, but can be found here. I have more colors coming to me because I love this technique using stencils!

Yesterday I visited my local stamp store and was so happy to find 3 different kinds of gold cardstock that were all beautiful, so I gobbled those up and will be hoarding those I'm sure.
I die cut a piece of pink with Lil Inker's stitched rectangle dies. I use those things constantly!
The stamp is from the cute Neat and Tangled set Kindness Matters

I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Thursday! xoxo
