Seriously deer.

Seriously, people. I made a video. WHAT? It's been SO long. I finally have a video set-up in my new craft room, so I hope to do more. And hopefully they will get better along the way, I'm a bit rusty.

I had a lot of fun with this card! Here are all the supplies I used:

Hummingbird love

Hey guys! Happy weekend!

I'm posting a card I created for Online Card Classes: Stretch Your Stamps 2. Love, love, love this class! It's been super informative and really has allowed me to branch out with my stamps. So sad it's over, but you can still take it anytime, the content is available for a long time.

I was totally inspired by the fabulous Jennifer McGuire for this card. You guys know how much I love gold and my WPlus9 stamps and dies!

I hope you have a fabulous Saturday! Oh, and this card? Totally reminds me of this song by my girl Katy Perry. If you need a little Saturday tune to dance to.

With A Grateful Heart

Hi there friends! Today, it's Unity hop day. YAY! Here is the card I made using the current Kit of the Month. This stamp is FABULOUS!
I did a watercolor background using a background stamp and water. Super cool technique! I then heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it with Lil' Inker Stitched Circles. The feather dies are Simon Says Stamp, dipped and heat embossed with white.

Be sure to jump over to the Unity website to see some awesome weekend sales!
And don't forget to leave your comments for a chance to win a prize pack!

Summer Fun!

Hi guys! My daughter started first grade yesterday. SNIFF. But she was so incredibly excited, it was easy for me to let her go. She had a great day. Back to school means end of summer, but not here in Dallas! It is still hot, there is still plenty of pool time and in a few weeks, we are renting a boat with family to spend a day in the sun.

I made this card to send to my 2 year old nephew that is coming down to visit in a few weeks. I put lots of texture into this card so he can touch and feel it.
I used Simon Says Stamp goodies on this card, I just love that old school wagon! I am entering this into the Simon Wednesday Challenge - Summer.

Have a fabulous day!

Simon Says Stamp Kids Summer Challenge!

Hi there! I have a special guest on my blog today....none other than Dakota Schreiner! Yep, this is my amazing awesome little girl. She is 6 years old and just started first grade today. Her favorite subject? Art, of course!
She wanted to participate in the Simon Says Stamp Kids Challenge this month. How fun! She also just got a kitten, so of course she wanted to stamp and color up the sweet kitty from the You Are Pawesome stamp set. I think her coloring is pretty clever...an orange calico!
I would love it if you would leave her some love on her card. I will be sure to read them all to her! Thanks for stopping in!

Online Card Class: Alphabet Stamps.

Wow, so yeah. I have owned this Lawn Fawn Alphabet stamp set for *quite* some time and I have never used it. The thought of lining up little letters on my block seemed way too tedious, but thanks to Online Card Classes: Stretch Your Stamps 2, I was able to do it rather painlessly and effortlessly! Hooray!
I started my card with a Simon Says Stamp stencil and embossing paste. I then die cut Texas and stamped howdy y'all repeatedly onto the die cut, then ink blended with a lighter red. The hello die cut is from Lawn Fawn, as well as the alpha stamp set.

Thanks for popping in, happy Friday y'all!

Online Card Classes Day 2: More Background Fun.

Hi there! I made TWO cards tonight for Online Card Class: Stretch Your Stamps. Go me! These were so fun to create. I have been dying to use this new fox die from Spellbinders for about a week. He's been staring at me, longingly, to use him. HA!
The background stamp (Hero Arts) is heat embossed and then I used my watercolors to apply a wash in selective places. The hello die is from WPlus9, the fox is Spellbinders and the foxy stamp is from a Kelly Purkey set.

For my second card, I heat embossed the background (another Hero Arts stamp) and applied an ombre effect with inks.

The die and stamps used here are from Simon Says Stamp. The scribble circle die is from Papertrey Ink.

I'll be back soon with a special guest post from my favorite 6 year old!

Mama Elephant Challenge: Watercoloring Birthdays

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday!

I spent a BIG chunk of my weekend putting together Ikea stuff. I love their stuff so much! I put a sleeper sofa in my craft room so we had another place for guests to sleep. It works so perfectly in my craft room, love the red.
I also got this FABULOUS black moose head I'm going to hang above the couch I'm way too excited about. I will post a picture when I get it hung.

ANYWAY! Moving on to a card for today....

I'm participating in the Mama Elephant Challenge this month: watercoloring and birthdays. So fun! I recently got a few new ME stamp sets I wanted to ink up. Love these.
I hope you enjoy your day!
