You're A Star

Hi there! Just a fun post today. I'm participating in the Pretty Pink Posh Sequin Shaker Blog Hop!
It's been a while since I have created a shaker card, so it was fun to make one again.
I used Lil' Inker products pretty much throughout this whole card. The stitched stars as well as the sentiment. I also used neon sequins with a black background to really make them pop. Fun, fun, fun!

Fill your mind with beauty.

Hi friends! It's Unity Thursday, which means fun new releases and a blog hop! YAY!

This week, there are some new Angie girls being added to the Unity family. So fun!

Here is mine, using the Itty Bitty Faceless Beauty. Love this head! haha.
The stencil and embossing paste technique was a COMPLETE accident. Love it when that happens, but not sure it can be recreated? I had some Inktense pencil residue left on my stencil from a previous project and didn't even clean it off. So when I applied the white embossing paste, some of the color from the pencils was left on the card. Cool, huh?

I colored the girl's head with Promarkers. The sentiment is from a previous stamp of the week, Mind & Beauty.

Be sure to check out all the new Angie girls and the super sales this weekend! {pssst you can get a cool new Unity koozie for your summer drinks!}
Here is the blog hop girls and the order for this week for easier hopping:

Lil' Inker Designs April Release: Day 3

I hope you all are enjoying the projects you have seen so far for Lil' Inker Design's April Release. If you got here from Amy's blog, you are in the right place.

Today, I have a fun little project for you....a tag bag! These cute little glassine envelopes are the perfect thing to complete your gift packages!
What's even cooler? You can heat emboss on them! I used a black glitter with the You're My Favorite stamp set and it worked out perfectly. Inside the bag, I die cut the Quick Notes Star Fold Out Die and poured some sequins inside. Such an easy, cute way to spice up a gift!

Your next stop on the hop is Heather. Have fun, and don't forget to leave comments and visit the Lil' Inker Store to gobble up these awesome new products!

Lil' Inker Designs April Release: Day 1

WOAH. I haven't blogged in a WHILE. I've been busy in Vegas and all that.

But today, I'm here to post a project for the Lil' Inker Designs April Release! You guys are in for a real treat, just you wait and see! If you came from Amy's blog, you are in the right place.
I used THREE new Lil' Inker products on this card! Quite possibly my very favorite of the release is the Quilted Stitched Pattern Die. Isn't this amazing? Such a simple, yet intricately detailed die that will add SO MUCH to your card. Love it!
I also used these awesome new funky flower dies from the Frames & Flowers Die Set:
And last, I used a sentiment from the Quick Notes set, full of so many versatile sentiments:
What do you guys think? Be sure to comment along the way so you have a chance to win one of THREE $15 gift certificates to the Lil' Inker store

Your next stop on the hop is my super talented friend Heather Campbell

Hey there friends! Happy Saturday!

I'm here today posting a card I made for my girl Taheerah's Cure For the Monday Blues Challenge. So fun! Here is the photo inspiration she posted for this week:
Yeah, that photo pretty much screams my name, no? HA HA!
Here is my take on the photo in card form:
I definitely knew when I saw this photo that I wanted to use one of my new Hero Arts Background Stamps, Highline Chalkboard. So fabulous! The bright yellow flowers are from Simon Says Stamp's Best Mom Ever set,  and the xoxo die is from the ever fabulous Amy Tangerine's Plus One line.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! xo

Super tricky for me, but super fun! Here's my take:
Ha! This girl cracks me up and totally fits the sentiment from Lil' Inker Designs The Fine Print stamp set. I also used Lil' Inker's Stitched Hearts Die Set, Cover Up Die - Swirls and Instant Camera Die

So fun trying new challenges, I think I'll do more! See you back here soon!
