I made this card for my parents Anniversary - 39 years this Friday! Amazing. I love the them both so much :) I also used My Favorite Thing's mini rose die. Love these little beauties! She Always Knew Card

Pssssst....remember me? I'm the girl that moved. The girl that is *still* unpacking and still organizing her craft room. I can't wait wait wait to post pictures here of all the fun little organizational details.

But for now, I wanted to post a card I made using this CA-UTE little girl from Unity Stamp Company's new CHA releases by Heidi Grace Kress. Isn't she darling? heehee I love her stick-figure-ness. Is that word? Anyway, I sent this one off to a crafty friend who is a super fun gal :) I don't do orange much, but I like this combo with the light blue!

Trust In The Lord {Unity Stamp of the Week}

Ok, friends. Last post / project before I completely pack up my entire craft room and transport lots and lots of boxes and start all over again in a new room, in a new house. I can't WAIT to show you the transformation from start to finish. Tomorrow, I'll post my inspiration for my new craft room with some things I've already purchased. Friday is the big move!

BUT - tonight - a card I made with Unity Stamp Company Stamp of the Week. I *really* need to work on following this quote better. For realsies.

I LOVE this stamp. In fact, I've been completely head over heels about this Stamp of the Week action. I have loved each and every one I've received so far. No surprise, as I am clearly a Unity FREAK. haha. Anyway, I also got to play with a few of the new colors from The Twinery. LOVE. The colors are beautiful in real life and really round out my collection. The purple hues are from Stampin Up - a few of my faves - Concord Crush and Rich Razzleberry. I cut out the hearts in Rich Razzleberry and popped the hearts from the stamp base as well.

Hold On Card {Unity Stamp Co Stamp of the Week}

Hi friends! Hope y'all had a nice relaxing weekend. I got my Unity Kit of the Month AND Stamp of the Week in the mail this weekend, so of course....I had to pick my FAVORITE and ink right up! Isn't this butterfly a beaut? I love it. It's from the January Kit of the Month. I don't use a lot of orange, but love the butterfly orange. I used my Promarkers to color her in and used Creative Charms bling to create a trail. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company's Stamp of the Week club. LOVE that. For around 5 bucks, you get a fun lil rubber treat in your mailbox each week!

Happy Birthday Angelica! {Peachy Princess Blog Hop}

If you don't know Angelica, you're missing out. She is a super creative, talented and sweet friend of mine. I got to know Angelica while on the Peachy Keen Design Team. Then, I started stamping with her BEAUTIFUL stamp line, Market Street Stamps. She has always been a great friend to bounce ideas off of, offers support and most importantly - we laugh a lot together! Happy Birthday Miss Thang, I'll buy you Taco Bell when you come visit me :)

I created this card using ALL Market Street Stamps. The background stamp is Here Comes the Sun and the swimsuit and sentiment is from the Chillaxin set. I created this card ALL with Angelica in mind - her favorite colors (red and teal - mine TOO!), her stamps and she LOVES California ;) It also reminds me of Wonder Woman - which she TOTALLY is.

I hope you have a WONDERFULLY happy and totally amazing birthday, Angelica! Love ya tons!

Follow Your Heart Card

So what would you do if I told you that every week, for like the price of a Starbucks Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato, a little slice of stamp heaven would magically appear in your mailbox? WELL people, this is real life. Unity Stamp Company just started doing STAMP OF THE WEEK. Pure genius. Here is what I made with Week 1's stamp. Week 1 you actually got TWO stamps. How awesome is that?

I just love this concept. It even comes in a super sweet little package - straight from a stamping angel! :)

Monday, Monday. Think positive thoughts :) I CAN DO THIS!

I made a card for a beautiful wedding I attended this weekend. Good times with good friends! I am entering this into the Unity Stamp Company Kit of the Month Challenge.

I used the December 2011 Kit of the Month, Echo Park Yours Truly paper and a good ole fashioned white doily I made my own heart and sprayed it with Glimmer Mist. I also used Tim Holtz die "Sewing Room" and The Twinery Twine.

You Are My Favorite Card

Happy Monday friends! Just a quick card post today. I wanted to play with a new Unity Stamp Company set and my new Sew Easy. I have been desperate to make a card using the Sew Easy and The Twinery twine to see how they would work together. Turned out pretty nicely. I might be doing a video soon with a few tricks to make it easier, though.

Emily's Back to the 80's Birthday Blog Hop

What's up dudes? It's Erin here. Let's all dig out our legwarmers, side ponytails, hair crimpers and bangles and take a trip back to the 80s! I loved the 80s. Actually, I was born in 1980. So you could definitely say I was an 80s girl.

When I was brainstorming this project, I remembered one of my favorite things about the 80s - Michael Jackson. He was (and is still) a HUGE pop icon and transformed music with hits such as Thriller, Beat It and Don't Stop Til You Get Enough. Classics!

I decided to go with a mixed media canvas. I found this image online and used the trace feature on my Cameo to create a silhouette cut out of MJ himself. I did a LOT of paint splattering with crazy bright colors and lots of little trinkets. My favorite is the truly vintage Cabbage Patch Kids puffy sticker pulled from a VERY old collection. So much fun! This one might even go up in my craft room. All stamps used are from Unity Stamp Company, including the Embrace Your Funky Self sentiment. I think it fits perfectly. I went over everything with sparkle Mod Podge, of course!

Holiday Gift Bag & Tag

Good morning friends! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Christmas is ONLY 10 days away! Can you believe it? I can't wait! I put together a gift last night for my daughter's teacher. I included a gift card, so I used Emma's gift card die to create a holder just for that :)

I added some other goodies along with the gift card and made this bag out of a plain ole kraft gift bag I picked up at Target. I jazzed it up with Unity Stamps, of course! The tag is from a previous project.

Peachy Keen Stamp LFIF Challenge 29: Fabric Scraps

Happy Friday friends! As sad as I am to say, this is one of my last Design Team posts for Peachy Keen Stamps. WAHHHHH. BUT - when one door closes, one will open. I'm really looking forward to seeing a FRESH, new team for Peachy Keen Stamps (it could be you...just sayin) so be sure to get your application in. I can't wait to see what's next for me in the crafting world ;) I just want to thank Kathy and Angelica for EVERYTHING they have done for me as a design team member. I love those two ladies like they are my own family. Heck, they ARE my family <3

This week, the challenge is to use fabric! I love incorporating fabric into my paper art projects. It's a great texture combination, whether it be flowers, trim or strips. This week, I created a holiday wreath for my daughter's room. It's made out of scrap fabric, ribbon, a styrofoam wreath and of COURSE some Peachy ornaments.

Hey friends! I've been a little MIA recently...it's because I've been spending some quality time with Tim Holtz. HAHA yeah right! But really, I'm doing his tags this year. Each year, he does 12 Tags of Christmas and they are always SO amazing and inspiring. You see his tags and say WOW, that is beautiful! The detail that goes into his tags are insane. And it really makes for a super messy craft space.

Quite a bit different, but that's ok - it's mine! I found the Noel in the Silhouette library and cut that with my brand spankin new Cameo on red glitter paper. I also just LOVE this new Pinecone die! You can create beautiful roses from it too. Who knew?

Maybe I will do a video tutorial soon on them. I'll be back soon with Tag #2!

Baby it's cold outside!

Ok, not really since I live in Dallas. It's probably actually still 40 degrees outside. But that's cold to me! It's rainy and dreary and dark. Yesterday was my birthday, and I had a great day. I got a Cameo! WOOT. It's sitting here staring at me on my table.

Sunday Randomness

Hi friends! I wanted to show you a few things I've been working on over this glorious break spent with family and not in the office. I have my house all decorated and it smells of cinnamon with a fire in the fireplace. I've been wrapping presents and working on tags.

And having fun craft time with my daughter. Meet "Francer" the reindeer. This little craft project was very easy. A paper plate, a brown crayon, her hands cut out on brown cardstock, googley eyes and a Christmas craft ball. She loved it!

I hope everyone is a having a wonderful extended weekend. I'm off to the grocery store to make something delicious for dinner. I'm thinking crock pot French Dips? I found a recipe on Pinterest. Have I mentioned I LOVE my crock pot? It's true. Until next time....

Santa Was Here Tag

Now that I'm wrapping up my 30 Cards in November challenge to myself, I've started working on some quick tags for my Christmas presents. I need to do a 50 tags in 20 days challenge! I'm trying to build up a collection so when I wrap, I can just grab a tag from my stash but so far my collection is 2. haha.

Last night, we put up our (real!) tree and I decided it looked a little bare with no packages yet. So....I made this easy little tag so I could start wrapping this weekend. (Since I'm done shopping, no Black Friday madness for me, thank you very much.)

Also, I am now using this extremely useful program from Inlinkz where I can link up and show you all the products I used for the project. Isn't that so cool? I love it!

It's time to get in the holiday spirit and one of my very favorite things to do during the holidays is BAKE! I love it. It's so fun and YUMMY to share treats with loved ones. I made this card to give to someone that holds a recipe inside. I might do this for my Christmas cards this year as something different to send out.

Market Street Stamps Paint the Town Color Challenge

Hi friends! Comin atcha tonight with a card made for Market Street Stamps Paint the Town Color Challenge. I love participating in their challenges! This one? Phew - toughie. I am NOT a purple gal. BUT I pulled out the Comforting Florals stamp set (for the first time ever) and thought they would be perfect for this color combo.

It looks navy in the picture, but I swear it's purple! The color is Stampin Up Concord Crush. Love this color. I also used my new Spellbinders Nestibilities (wonky rectangles) and The Twinery Twine in Honeydew.

This is card #9 for my 30 in November Challenge - I'm making 30 cards for each day in November! Yay for keeping up with goals.
