Gallery Idol Round 5: Adhesives

Well, this is it! The final round of Gallery Idol 2014. What a thrilling ride it has been! Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for your support, kind words, love and votes. It has been such a blessing to have you all cheering for me. That is winning enough for me, but if I were to win the whole thing...well that would just be the cherry on TOP!

For this challenge to use adhesives in a unique way, I used Hero Art's tiny triangle cover plate die with a ScorTape adhesive sheet mounted on white cardstock and die cut it. From there, I peeled each row of adhesive backing off, exposing the sticky part to adhere different colors of glitter one color at a time. I loved the look, but didn't want it to overpower the dream catcher, so I used black cardstock angled panels.

The dream catcher is die cut from my Silhouette Cameo in a gold linen cardstock. The feathers are also glue tipped and dipped in embossing powder, then heated. The right feather uses the same technique as the background, just reversed colors. I felt the sentiment from Unity Stamp Company was a perfect fit to complete the card heat embossed to match!

If you feel my card (and all my past cards) are worthy of the Gallery Idol crown, I would love your final vote so very much. Sending out lots of love to you all and feeling humble to be in it still. xoxo
